Spent a peaceful evening here, enjoying walks on the beach and around the pretty town. There were several other motorhomes parked. Well lit. Lovely view across cliffs and beach. Felt safe for solo female (with dog)!

What a great location. Clearly 17 others also thought this on Friday and and Saturday nights. Roadside parking on the road overlooking the North Sea. Lots of small cafes restaurants and pubs in the town centre 200 yards away!
Great!

Called at Saltburn after visiting RSPB Saltholme, near Middlesbrough, which is well worth a visit. Chose this weekend for Saltburn particularly because of the excellent farmers' market, which is often held on the second Saturday of the month. Loads of space, maybe 4 or 5 other vans, well spread out. Pulled slightly onto the very wide pavement to get level. Great access to the beach, toilets nearby. Quiet night.

A quaint little coastal resort, wonderful fish and chips at the seaview cafe. Recommend to try and park at the north end away from the sports bar if you want a quite experience, but may be ok during the week and not the weekend. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed here for a couple of days. Totally free parking on the roadside. Quite a few motorhomes/campers as there was a folk festival on. Locals very friendly as long as we leave no trace. No facilities but there are public toilets nearby

Great one night stopover. Near to the town for shopping in interesting independent shops. Handy Sainsburys for stocking up.
There were 2 other moho’s & a camper on the night we stayed-all well spread out. We parked up near the Marine Hotel where there was a folk club on the night we stayed (Monday)-all quiet.
Fab views, lovely walks from the top down to & out along the pier, Valley Gardens, Italian Garden. We followed a Treasure Trail and learned a lot about the history of the town & also bagged some geocaches en route, as thats ‘our thing’.

We popped in to the Ship Inn & Marine Hotel.
Great little town-will return.

What an amazing view, lovely traditional seaside town. Peaceful night, few kids hanging round till about 7.30 but no problems. We parked facing the pier out motorhome is 6m so had to park with front wheels on pavement, which made it more level.

Drove here after reading previous reviews. Parking is on the street opposite houses and is on an incline. In my opion not suitable for overnight parking for those two reasons. Nice place though to have a good look round.

Stayed for 2 nights and loved it. With having rear seating area had an excellent view down to pier watching surfers and fishing. The more you walk in town. the more you find, especially unique little independent shops, lovely. Sainsburys for bigger shop and many takeaways, pubs etc. Only noise was Friday when hotel had a disco on so bit of noise till midnight. Will certainly return.
