There is now a £2 daily parking charge, payable by card or cash via a machine in the car park it also has a no overnight parking 'sticker' which I did not even notice until the following morning!View all reviews by CriftinsCampers
We stayed without interruption however it is a very exposed site and it was very windy!
There aren't any facilities other than bins.
The track in from the road is rough and should be taken slowly with caution especially if the pot holes are full of water.
The full walk around the reservoir is 7 miles
beautiful place, lots of walks, we stayed on a weekend was about 4 more units jotted about, however we parked away from main carpark as was quite busy with walkers and mountain bikers.View all reviews by duettos1
a peaceful night but was woken earlier with lots of people at around 8.30am.
lots of rubbish around which is sad to see! we usually litter picks on our stays over night...but this would have taken a week to clear. its terribly when bins are provided.
well worth a stay. stunning views. we had a long drive into this place from and was very mountainous. we are in a 25 year old van and she struggled. best to approach from A5 cerrigydrudion.
cafe open all year at llyn brenig vistors centre nearby
Great little stop over. Busy during the day. Only ones there overnight. Possibly due to Storm Erik passing through ????????. Definitely be going back.View all reviews by swift100
Very wet and windswept but a peaceful night, we were the only ones there once the walkers had gone home. Google sent us to the water treatment works and a dead end which made for an interesting 20 point turn in torrential rain, so watch out. The road to and the car park itself was quite rough but doable, and the views more than make up for it. No mobile phone or data signal.View all reviews by CNelmes
Great place to park for wild campers. No toilet facilities just a couple of bins. We had a good few hours walk around the reservoir. Ideal for cycling and walking as the paths are mainly flat. Would happily visit again.View all reviews by mazkhan
