I stayed on a Saturday night in August.2019View all reviews by susiem
Pretty stop.Welll maintained picnic spot..
Good walks with or without dog.
There was a small ferry service to the other side of the lake where there is a pub.
Unfortunately as it was a Saturday there was loud music in the pub until gone 1pm.
Popular spot for fisherman. They also disturbed me early hours but I am quite a light sleeper.
It could be quieter on a week night.
Others have mentioned parking. We have a long Motorhome and we didn't have a problem. there were a couple of other motorhomes parked as well. As long as you park properly and consideratly there is plenty of parking for locals.
Nice level spot, we were in a T5 pop but pleny of space for bigger vehicles. Ground is combination of mud and tarmac. Next to the river and open green space with picnic tables and chairs. Came here 15th August 19. One other van. Quiet spotView all reviews by digger006
Quiet spot next to the river. Small parking area and there were three vans there last night, which took up half the space, not leaving much for the locals.View all reviews by radioham
Reasonably flat gravel surface. Not sutuable for larger vans, I’d say 6m max.
Picnic tables, plus a rubbish bin.
Quiet picnic spot by the river. At the very end if Lower Lode Lane.View all reviews by nigelterry63
Picnic tables and litter bins seemingly well maintained.
Nice spot to pop a canoe in the river..
We were there on a Monday daytime chilling for an hour or two, so don't know how weekends and evenings would be.
May be a busy spot for late night "extra curricular" activities.
Overall could be a good free overnighter.
