Great site this, found it on SFS, the place is over the road from the beach and a 10/15 walk into the centre, the campsite its self is imaculate and has good sized pitches, it is a working avocado farm that also has goats, donkeys and horses in an area at the rear, its family run and they are really friendly and helpful, theres a honesty box for bread, ice cubes and fresh vegtables and you can help yourself to the avacados growing on your pitch, we paid €50 for our 2 nights, highly recommended and really quirky.View all reviews by paulhodgkiss
One of the nicest sites we have stayed at very quaint, rustic and genuinely welcoming. It is situated on an Avacado farm. you are welcomed at the gate by Jose the site/farm owner, who shows you around. There are free seasonal fruit and veg which you help yourself, fresh bread every morning, €1 has to be seen to be appreciated. Great toilet and shower facilities. It is a 20 minute walk into lovely Nerja, where there are lots of nice cafes, tapas bars, restaurants and shops, there is also a Lidl 20 mins walk or 5 min drive away. Lovely village of Frigiliana is 3 miles inland, also the great Rio Chillar gorge walk is a must. we will be returning.View all reviews by smarts
Agree with all recent reviews we loved it here, it’s not shiny and new so if that’s your thing don’t go but we found it charming. Best to ring ahead to check they have space before arriving but you can stay on Lidl carpark and there are also some wild camping places off the beach. It’s a 20 minute walk to the edge of town and 30 minute walk to the Balcon de Europa in centre. The owner made recommendations for places to eat which were less touristy and they served amazing food and good value. You need to walk to bus station in town about 25 minutes to get public transport, we went to Frigiliana which is worth seeing but you can get to many other places as well. This is a charming, quirky and rustic small campsite in an old avocado cortijo with very helpful and friendly owners and a parrot called Anna. We arrived without booking and they were full. However they managed to squeeze us in on a small pitch. Everything is very rustic but everything is clean and it works. Dont come here if you like everything modern and smart. Lots of lovely and interesting plants and shrubs around the site. Honesty box for bread and fresh produce from the farm available with a donation to help feed the animals. We saw a donkey, goat and a horse. Short walk to the beach then approx 2kms into Nerja. Pitch is €25 pn inclusive of EHU and wifiView all reviews by jant
We spotted that this site looked like it might be a bit different and it is. Best described as quirky, relaxing and full of very friendly staff and MH owners. There were quite a few people there who return each year as its just a great place to stay. The village 2km away has a fantastic square by the beach full of eating and coffee shops and offers nice walks. We rang head but they do not book over the phone, you just arrive and ee what is available. There were bigger pitches at €25 but we had a small one with EHU and wifi at €20.View all reviews by Jonbo66
Its a lovely site full of trees with pitches between with fresh veg and bread via an honesty box which was very nice and food very tasty.
We will return.
Came for one night, stayed for four. Probably best looking site we've ever stayed in.View all reviews by jesrutter
Nice facilities, lovely surroundings.
Nerja town centre is nice if you can find it; persevere! You'll walk through a lot of dross first, so have faith!
Only downside of local area is poor beaches; Very stoney and dark like a gravel pit.
Good area if you like kite surfing.
Quirky rustic charm! In an avocado plantation/beautiful garden of a family home. The site was originally intended for camping but over time, motor homes have become the main customers so the family is extending the site and making larger pitches. The sanitation facilities are basic but clean and adequate. Nerja is a 20 minute walk which felt a long way in the heat when we missed the bus. A taxi back was €7. A very warm welcome from the daughter of the owner, and the parrot, Anna, who says Hola! Honesty system for bread and washing machine. A nice site but overall we felt it to be on the expensive side for what was on offer - €25.View all reviews by davwal
Fantastc site. Very rustic. Pitches level and surrounded by palms, plantain(or bananas, not sure which!) avocados, bamboos and lovely flowering shrubs. Facilities old and rustic but very clean and they work! Hot water a plenty. Loo paper provided. No loo seats-doesnt bother me at all. 5 min walk across road to huge beach. Can then walk along back of beach into centre of Nerja about 15-20 mins. Bread left to buy on an honesty system. Leave money in pot. Same with washing machines. Pay at reception before using. Fantastic and quiet end Sept. maybe a little tricky for very large mohos, fine for us 7.13. Large social room with tv. Not on when we were here. Not ACSI €26 inc ehu & wifiView all reviews by hugsi
