Small and cosy family run country inn with the estuary on the doorstep and great walks on the coastal path. Our pub has just become dog friendly although we ask you to make us aware before bringing your furry friend in as we are currently training our pub dog to adhere to the new rule. Dogs must be kept on leads. Small/medium motorhomes welcome to stay if they use the pub but no electrical hook ups or toilet facilities other than those in the pub/cafe itself. The cafe offers breakfast from 9am til 2pm and the pub opens midday (12).

A great overnight spot en route to Pembrokeshire despite the narrow road leading to it. Landlady Vicky offers a warm greeting. Although the pub was still closed, the cafe was open and the Indian takeaway will deliver foc. They are due to put 4 bays in the car park specifically for motorhomes with a £20 charge, which you can claim against pub meals. Or you can stay anywhere in the car park for free if you wish. Great coastal walks. Gates are shut at 8.00pm. Would definitely return.

The pub is currently closed but the lovely landlady said it was still okay to stopover anyway. We had a great walk down to the lighthouse easily walkable about a mile down the coast. Will definitely be back and will sample the food when we do. carpark was busy but locked at 8pm so quietened nicely.

Unfortunately the lighthouse pub was closed on the night of our visit due to Covid 19 but we stayed and enjoyed our overnight stay.
No facilities were open but we didnt need any as we were self sufficient. The walks and views were fabulous and we enjoyed our stay here.

Fantastic pub stopover. We went there for an Italian themed buffet night -the food was amazing, and they went out of their way to make vegetarian options for me. The following day we watched the rugby in the pub - great atmosphere and quite a few other motorhomes in there.
No facilities other than the toilets in the pub, but the owners and staff were extremely friendly, and told us to speak to them if we needed any water or to charge phones, etc.
Lovely walks straight onto the estuary path.

Friendly staff, free overnight stopover - get ticket from pub no need for pay and display. Car park bit bumpy. Very close to walk along estuary. Cafe open in the morning from 9am for nice breakfast. Pub of its age although toilets clean. Dont serve food on a monday.

Rang before to ask if they would have room for us to stay overnight, no problem was the answer, can we also book a table for food tonight, sorry we only serve Sunday roast until 3pm, if you can't get here by 3pm ring us and we will save you some. We arrived at midday to be sure, was greeted by owners daughter before we had parked van with a free parking permit, had a pint in beer garden, then went for a walk and look round, Sunday roast & sweet at 2pm fantastic price, big carpark some walks if you are up for it, all in all great stopover. Oh I forgot to mention there is a cafe on site, great breakfast (recommend the crews breakfast) that's what we had sets you up for the day and cheapaschip!

Friendly staff, had a decent Sunday roast, and a few hours in the beer garden. Free to stopover as we used (and boy, did we!!!), the pub. pretty noisy as I type this, at 8.30pm, lots of cars coming and going, not unexpected for a pub but hoping it quietens as it gets late. Good stopover point, down a quiet track, estuary right next door.

Very welcoming family run country pub right on the coast. Great walks next to the estuary with fishing if u catch the tide right. Carpark is pay and display but upon first purchase with pub or cafe an exception ticket can be obtained for the day.
Only facilities are those within the pub or cafe during opening hours but staff are very friendly and will help out with any needs if they can.
Dogs are welcome in all outside areas where the staff will often come and make a fuss with a biscuit or 2.
Beautiful place where after a drink (or 2) you can watch the sunset over the foreshore.

Lovely place to stay over. FREE (not £10 as indicated) and the pub is very welcoming. Car park actually has a charge but the pub will give you an exemption sticker to display if you use their bar. Perfect arrangement and just as it should be.

Great spot.
