Arrived in the afternoon and started the walk up the river at 9am. Great walk 10km up and 10km back. Lovely river easy to walk. Stopped another night in the bottom car park. Dog bark now and then. Great stop. Only bins available.

We stayed overnight in the upper car park with another unit. Very quiet at night, the stars were very visible.
We were up early to do the 8km walk up the Rio Barosa as far as the Hydro plant. Amazing views, highly recommended.
No facilities other than bins

Got here early to beat the rush, not really worth it other than a picturesque drive. Went off walking came back to find 5 x Coaches and numerous cars but still a lot of space in lower car park. Do we stay overnight or don’t we? Car park empty of coaches at 19.30. Cars still here until 21.00. Distant dogs barking, NO visitors other than deer. Quiet night. Another MH in Lower car park and camper van in car park at start of walk. You take your chance and if lucky a nice night. Saturday morning ve

As per Motoroamers’ review. Spent two nights here on lower section with a dozen Spanish MHs at the weekend so no hassle parking. The gorge walk is simply stunning if you go a far as 7km upstream with every chance of seeing a golden eagle! We did!. Bins provided and ample super clean spring water available

What a delightful find this was. Just off the main road deep in the valley of the Sierra de Cazorla mountains, this was a great stopping point. A very large parking area for the gorge walk along the Borosa River allows camping and it was wonderful. A quiet and undisturbed night surrounded by the wilds of the mountains. Couldn't think of anything nicer. Only shared with one other intrepid explorer. Water from mountain springs available and bins.
