Decided to stop here on our tour of kent n sussex after reading reviews. Nice flat carpark and as midweek not too busy. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely pub and garden looking over the harbour. Had food in the pub which was very good and reasonably priced. Very quiet at night. Early morning birdsong to wake up to. Lovely flat walks over the marshes. Would definatly reccomend and would stay again.

Stayed here overnight. Lovely flat walk out to the sea or to the harbour. Flat carpark in which we were told we were very welcome to stay. Very friendly and helpful bar staff. Good beer and a varied menu includingCypriot dishes (owner is Cypriot). We wentfor the Cypriot sharing platter which was generous and tasty. Very quiet overnight. Picnic bench outside for my morning cuppa!
A lovely overnight spot.

This is a friendly seaside pub in a beautiful location at Rye Harbour. Plenty of outside seating to enjoy the view of seafront cottages and the estuary. The food is a real bonus - mostly a Greek menu. The Beef Stifado was excellent, also Greek Salad. In the morning we walked across the the nature reserve and watched the gulls and waders from the hide. Public toilets are just a few yards away and this location is very quiet overnight. Highly recommended - Mangnificent Desolation!

Excellent in every way. Very quiet night. Level gravel parking although not a huge space. Public toilet 2mins walk. Food and beer in pub was spot on, really tasty food and good range of drinks. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free to park as long as you eat in pub. Nearby boatyard and RNLI station so may be water if you need it (we didn't). Highly recommended and would come back.

didn't stay overnight, just visited for the day. arrived early before pub opened, and kitchen staff said no problem to park up. returned late lunchtime for excellent meal, but beware as they stop serving food after 2.30. would definitely visit again and would consider overnighting. pub is busy during opening hours but would be v quiet for an overnight I'm sure.

If you arrive on a Sunday lunchtime as we did , be prepared to wait for a parking space as very popular. Once the majority of customers had left we were able to park in what is now a very quiet location next to Rye harbour, with lovely walks around a nature reserve, and if the sun had been shining a perfect stopover. The food in the pub is very good a lot of Greek type food would highly recommend. There are no other amenities other than some public toilets and a cafe.
