Ideal stop over for one night. We phoned ahead (as requested) and were made very welcome. Arrived too late for food but Landlord was fine with us having a soft drink and pkt crisps.View all reviews by NellWallace99

This was our first time using the app so very impressed with how straightforward it was.

Looking for a stopover near M6 on way up to Scotland. Phoned ahead - landlord couldn't have been friendlier and was equally so when we arrived. Car park 'functional' (ie no view) but pub food - despite the menu looking a little standard - was excellent. Food served til 9pm. Loos open during pub hours very clean. Pub comfortably lively and dog friendly. No children in bar after 9pm. Just a couple of miles off M6 and half a mile to a Shell garage. Excellent stopover.
Sheona willie and the two cairn terriers-6/9/18-lovely pub great food friendly staff and plenty parking for overnight stop. call beforehand as they have things on on pub often so parking can be tight. Very quite night but noisy early weekday morning as think locals use it as a park and ride. right across road down a lane is a park to walk the dogs. easy acess to and from M6View all reviews by yogyskamp1
