Now has signs up saying no camping or sleeping. Real shame as its close to the centre and we were hoping to go out in the evening and the camp site is closed over winter.View all reviews by chrisnian
Great location only a few minutes walk from town. Location alongside the caravan and motorhome camp site. Arrive after 5:30 and purchase ticketfor the following day. £4 per day. Also alongside a large green area with childrens playground and fitness exercise park for those more keener than me on keep fit. Ideal area for dog walking. Will definitely use again if in the area. No facilities other than rubbish bins in the car park.View all reviews by mandomad19
Car park about a ten minute walk from the town centre.View all reviews by radioham
Clear signs to NOT park motorhomes in the coach spaces. No specific spaces for mororhomes, but the layout works well for us.
There are several spaces where you can overhang over grass, just mind the wall !
No height barrier. No overnight stays.
RIght next to a Marquis maindealer (no accessory shop)
Excellent stopover next to large park. Perfect for the dogs. Very quiet. Short walk to town. Free between 5pm-8am No services. Its the section next to the rugby club sign and not the car park through the barrier, unsurfaced.View all reviews by jackrussel
Either we were being extremely thick and not looking properly or there doesn’t appear to be anywhere for MHs here. There are two height barriers, one at the front and one around the side and we wonder if the second one has maybe been added since the last reviews. Such a shame cos it’s a lovely spot being opposite the park and a stone’s throw from the town and the river.View all reviews by nina0548
The main car park has a height barrier. Additional parking is adjacent to the rugby club entrance (no barrier). We were met by a traffic warden on arrival who was very helpful. Plenty of bins and convenient for the town centre.View all reviews by masyomo
A really cost effective way to enjoy a lovely, lovely town!! The site is next to the park and the Bowls Club - pay and display tickets from machine in the 'normal' (height barrier and small marked spaces) carpark 20metres from the site. Flat, 3min walk to the Abbey, 5 or 6 into the heart of the town itself, with High Street shops, banks, restaurants, pubs and some (nice) independent shops and outlets. Riverside/canalside walk around the town, clearly marked. An excellent find for a weekend stop!View all reviews by chrismallinson
