past Sports ground (where there are water and waste facilities) and down towards beach. Park amongst trees as motor homes not allowed in car park. 100m walk to gorgeous beach. Get there early as gets busy! Supermarket in Carnota to stock up before you arrive. Peaceful night.
I agree with previous review. If you follow road around to the etuary/sea it is gorgeous. Walked along beach evening and morning. I thought it a lovely beach. Did not need nor look for services. It was a most enjoyable stay but it was in winter so quiet.View all reviews by pummlepuffin
There is an official aire next to the sports facilities with a service point but past this there is a pine forest where motorhomes & cars park to gain access to the beach & to overnight. Right at the end of the road next the beach is a payable car park but motorhomes cannot park here. Carnota beach is very pretty & as such is very popular. If you park in among the trees be prepared to be trapped in by other other visitors in their cars who can and will park anywhere! Prepare to stay overnight!View all reviews by sallyr1964
From the football ground site listed travel a bit further along the road and emerge from the trees onto a beautiful estuary. Room for one (large) maybe two (small) vans tucked in opposite the 3 car park spaces. Lovely views where you have the coast to youself after the local leave for the day. A boardwalk runs alongside and the sea laps right up to the shore. There's a water tap and non-wrkg shower point at the shore and, apparently , emptying facilities at the football ground.View all reviews by twomac
