Stopped for lunch, not overnight, but decent flat car park with sports fields behind suggests a good place for stopover, close to the M6. No facilities outside the pub itself. Food was good - very impressive portion sizes!

Late call to split our journey with a quick stop over.
As stated the Plough is on a busy Road route and near to the Train line.
Road noise can be a pain but never ruined our stay.
Food in the Pub was excellent and had a good selection of Ales.
Beautiful Canal side walk just metres from the Pub.
This is a Britstop/Pub Stop over so dont expect facilities, Loo accessable during opening times.

Ideal for quick overnighter if heading North, approx 1 Mile from M6

This pub is on a busy road, next to the West Coast main train line. You don't really notice the sound of the trains passing as the road noise drowns it out. Small car park. Space on the waste ground behind the car park as long as you leave room for the cars to leave the village hall. The pub food is good.
