Not a bad site in theory, free, good location, not isolated from other motorhhomes however guess we had bad luck with the amorous couple who decided to get jiggy in their Golf GTI next to us at 1.30am until 3 am with their engine running the whole time, techno music and loud voices! Not how i expected to teach my children who were with me about the birds and the bees! Hope our wrecked bedtime was worth it!View all reviews by emck2
The spaces fill quickly, and there is a new drive not to allow camping outside of the five spaces. Motorhomes in the spaces alongside, the waste ground and car park up the road and nearby roads all got moved on by the police after nine at night. You can park nearby, but risk a fine if you sleep. The spaces are brilliant and have a great view, but if you catch one empty you are lucky!View all reviews by fontauger
You can see this site from the ferry before it docks. The designated motorhome spots were full so we parked next to these as others were. A quiet spot overnight Lovely to see the boats pass by. Cafes and restaurants are close. We were entertained by a brass band practising for a showView all reviews by stansearch
Really nice quiet spot on the waterfront by the docks. Only a couple of motorbike spaces but we managed to get one, if we hadn’t there would have been plenty of room in the normal parking spaces. Close to a supermarket. Free.View all reviews by frankiehansen3
All spots filled at 4pm. Also vans in car parking bays alongside allocated pitches. Our van was too long so we also parked up the road in the car park without a problem. However not sure if it is allowed!View all reviews by jaynep
Quietish place to spend the night, although the 5 spaces were already filled we followed another motorhome and parked as carefully as possible in the car bays (there are plenty!)View all reviews by dansouthgate
Easy walk to the town centre (10mins) great views over the river to the industrial area. Looks quite spectacular at night
Direct on the "Nieuwe Waterweg" were all the ships to Rotterdam harbour passing by. Only 5 official places, but beside these place you can park to - I do not know how strick the place is.View all reviews by henkvanderpot
The first foto is NOT the right place. Foto 2 and 3 are the official places.
Places are about 1 km from the Stena Line fary to Harich.
Arrived here late afternoon to find the 5 motorhome spaces already taken. We drove a few hundred metres up the seafront and overnighted in the large free wasteland car park opposite the seafront restaurant with no problems. Several restaurants/snack bars nearby.View all reviews by samwillis17
