Great spot to spend the day by the beach. It was pretty full when we went (we arrived just affer midday on a Sunday) but was able to find a space. An ice cream van parked up. Bins unfortunately were overflowing. Beach was clean, and plenty of space. Dogs allowed, and didnt see any mess. Will return.

We stayed here all day then moved and parked on the lane leading up to it overnight. A few vans stayed on the terrace but most moved. We had no issues camping on the lane. We moved back onto the terrace at 7:30am for the day.
It is a truely lovely spot. public toilet is free.

Spent the day at this beautiful spot. Watched some car visitors take toilet roll up the grassy hill even though the toilets were open. Parked overnight in the approach road then returned for a few hours the following morning.

New sign up "no overnite parking", daytime parking only. Both height barriers are currently open. Nice when its quite, not nice when there are loads of people with their yapping dogs. Ban due to alleged behaviour of "campers" but the behaviour of dog owners here is certainly antisocial yet no dog ban? bags of cr*p everywhere and gormless owners standing and watching while their free range mutts treat the provided dustbins as toilet areas.

Spent the day here, busy at times with dog walkers and a steady stream of cars coming in and out. 3 motorhomes all day.
The dogs loved it, and owners picking up their poops and taking away.
Will use regular . Sign up saying no parking after 10pm. Plenty of small sites in the area for over nights.

June 2018 This advert is incorrect. Overnight stopping / parking with any vehicle results in a parking fine it is not allowed here. Lots of tickets issued recently with regular nightly patrols. There is a lovely touring caravan and motorhome park just along the coast from here see their page https://www.facebook.com/BreakwaterCaravanPark for a free holiday.

I stayed on Huttoft for 3 nights during the week. There was plenty of space and very quiet in the evening. Beautiful sunrises in the morning.
I will be going back.

Well known fact that overnight stopping is not allowed here. 40 tickets issued recently so if people continue to abuse then the council will just put the height barrier back up and there will be no daytime parking either. LCC hates campers and motorhomes, provide sites for gypsy travellers but not the ordinary "man in the street". What sites there are available are either very expensive or ram packed full.

Stayed overnight Friday, signage changed (see photo) loads of space, met Rose (campervan) who stays regular says the council don't bother chasing anymore. We were not disturbed until 2.30 am by Joe's music We were about a quarter mile away and it woke me up, I walked over, he seemed nice (pissed/stoned) with his girlfriend/wife baby and two dogs. Told us they sometimes have illegal raves on the beach. Its a great spot if you are lucky enough to be left alone I would go again

Absolutely beautiful spot, highly recommended. However, from talking to other motorhomers (about 7 others here) this site sounds to be a bug bear for the council, they possitivly discourage camping, caravans and Moho overnighting. There are signs up everywhere threatening legal action for any vehicle parked between 10pm & 6am and dismantled height barriers. They have issued summons to a couple of people who use this place regularly but never gained a conviction. Council turned up twice today :(

Very long car park literally on the beach!! Very quiet at night. There is a sign that says no parking overnight but we did along with 7 other motor homes we was told that they give out a warning notice but we stayed 2 nights an was lucky. If you get the chance to go we would highly recommend this place, watching the sunrise from our bed in a morning was unreal. There is 2 public toilets, not the cleanest but there if needed. It can get very busy on sunny weekends. Town close by also.

I was warned by other campervan people about the council sending round security and trying to take people to court for parking there, however, it is ignored, and I haven't heard of any convictions, but just to be on the safe side, I parked on the little lane leading up to the beach, as there is enough room for about 5 vans I would say, in the lay by, then drove back on the terrace at 6am, for a nice cooked breakfast with a beautiful view, nice quiet spot, Toilets there, not clean, but functional

This is a seafront site set well back from the road. No charges. There are no facilities. We have stayed here a few times but there may be height restriction barriers in the future. They have been fitted in the past, but seem to be mysteriously removed.
