Medium sized ACSI site near to the small town of Audenge on the Bay of Arcachon. Very clean sanitary facilities although no toilet seats or paper (very common in France) Pitches mostly very level and most have EHU. Water dotted around the site so you wont have far to go to fill up. No shop on site and bread not available from reception while we were there but shops are only a few minutes away in Audenge. Swimming pool not open in May! Although close to a road we didn't notice any noise during the night. There is a cycle path about 1/4 mile away which follows an old railway line. This area is extremely flat so you can cycle for miles and hardly notice it. Andernos les Bains (8 miles to the north) is a lovely seaside town and worth a visit and has a terrific covered market with fish to die for!!! There are some lovely walks out onto the reclaimed mud-flats in Audenge and there is an Ornithological Park at le Teich about 10 miles to the south towards Arcachon. If you are into bird-watching this area wont disappoint.

Fairly typical French ACSI site with hedged pitches. Large units will struggle to swing onto some pitches. Lack of water taps on site. Loo's clean and modern but no seats or paper as many French sites! Motorhome service point outside entrance. A little road noise from main road nearby. Full of Polish tent campers when we visited but no trouble. Handy for "Les Landes" cycle route around Arcachon bay. Small town less than 1km with nice marina and large outdoor pool just a little further.
