Pretty location on top of hill. Good for dog walking and pub next door (The Pheasant - doesn't have it's own parking area).

A popular location so often busy until late into the evening, as such, not recommended for long motorhomes above 7m or so.

Fantastic location, us and one other van here last night. Nice dog walking on the common land. Good pub 30 meters away. What more could you ask for.

Site is a level carpark next to the windmill. Arrived around 8pm. Plenty of space and the Pheasant pub a stones throw away. Having quenched our thirsts we spent an undisturbed night. Awoke to beautiful views of surrounding countyside. No facilities but the views and pub more than made up for that.

Agree with the other reviews, great place for a stopover. Fantastic view, no problem parking our small motorhome and the Pheasant pub within a few yards. Totally free parking, no facilities and no apparent overnight restrictions.

Wow, what a fantastic stopover. The view is amazing. Level parking. We are just under 8m but mananged to park nearest the windmill end and out of the way, the carpark when we arrived was busy but it did thin out later in the evening. If you don't want to cook I would recommand the pub a stones throw away, The Pheasant, food is excellent and priced ok. Get stop over near the M40 and Bicester village. No facilities so unable to give a score.

Great spot. Top of the hill. Runners. Bike riders and dog walkers all turned up. My 6.4 metre van was fine in the carpark. Lovely views. Cooked a Sphag bol in the van and watched the sunset. Good TV and phone reception. Nice beer in the pub. Quite a few potholes on tbe approach road.

What a location!!! Can see for MILES. Plenty of room for our 8m unit out of season. Relatively flat. Pub nearby. And some walks around the area. Muddy in January!!

We stayed here for one night parked overlooking the windmill. Brilliant view and as bonus there is 4G mobile phone and data service. Had a beer in pub that overlooks the car park. Walked into the village and bought a few supplies and fresh fish from the mobile fish man who calls into town late Tuesday afternoon. The car park is small but we managed OK in our 7m motorhome.

Stayed here last night, very nice place, great views, lots of good walking and very quiet though a lot of walkers. The pub wasn't serving food but staff were very friendly and the menu looked good.
