Lovely stop over - no toilets between 5pm when the cafe closes and 10am. Cafe food not cheap but we enjoyed it.
We were the only campers overnight but there were a few other evening visitors presumably from nearby holiday accomodation. Very quiet overnight. Good dog walking early morning.

We stayed overnight at the cafe after a two hour sail on The Sir Walter Scott Steam Boat which was excellent. When we arrived at the cafe after a ten mile drive along a humpty bumpty road "but dont let that put you off"
I asked Craig (the owner) could we stay the night in the car park, not a problem he said. I could not believe how busy they were for a cafe in such a remote location.
We had a gorgeous evening meal in the conservatory overlooking the lock and they are dog friendly too. Another large motorhome pulled up alongside later on but the carpark is quite big. they also do breakfasts the following morning from 10.00am. The views are stunning & the owners & staff are so welcoming.

Beautiful location overlooking Loch Katrine. Large car park with no charges when we were there in January. Lovely cafe with outside toilets which were open from 9am till 5pm. Cycle path/walks along the lake.
