Narrow single track access road for about 2 miles. Once we got there couldn’t have had a nicer welcome. All that others have said. Area next to the restaurant was full so they offered us a free spot 100 meters away. View fantastic. Got are washing done with ease even though a busy Sunday in July 5€. Only non Spanish van there. Didn’t use mh facilities but looked fine. There were facilites both inside the restaurant space and on the road for bigger vans. Very hilly and lots of walkers and cyclists. Would definately stop again. Provision up if planning stay as nothing around, Tapas with every drink. Superb hospitality. ( View 10 but hills and access brings score down)View all reviews by MillietheMotorHome

We arrived just as the weather turned nasty.
Host very helpful and welcoming.
We could just about appreciate the view but vertical rain and a howling wind made the best option to get under cover. We had a cuppa in the van and then went to try the cider. €2.70 for a big bottle with specific instructions on how to drink it. Lovely stuff.
The bar had the wood burner going and locals dining as well as hostel guests. A warm and cosy atmosphere. The facilities were spotless and looked.brand new.
We woke up the next morning to blue skies and spectacular views. We walked the dogs around the surrounding hills off lead. 10/10 easily!
Agree with the previous comments, spectacular views and host made us welcome but he was leaving for 2 days. It was a Monday and I think the hostel and bar are closed Mon & Tues in low season. Was looking forward to a meal there. All in all a wonderful aire with all the services. Still €6 + 2 more for power etc.View all reviews by fletch25
What a gem of an aire if you aren't looking for anything too fancy with shops, restaurants etc. Gorgeous views and great walking, cycling on the door step. Ate at the hostal - €10 each, set menu of 3 courses including bottle of wine. Food was simple but really tasty. Would suggest you pay extra though for a decent bottle of vino. We were made very welcome and wouldn't hesitate recommending it. €6 per might - great value.View all reviews by adiel
Arrived here 11 Feb and Hostel closed. No one around. Snow plough had cleared roads and parking area across from hostel so we stayed anyway. Access to water and wc disposal so ok. Spectacular place!View all reviews by elainebat2002
This is very well worth a visit: it's in the northern Cordilleras de Leon on the grounds of a hostel/inn, a fabulous and very out of the way place to with a friendly welcome, walking, rock and ice climbing and cycling. Food in the inn. Horse riding too - bring your own horse!View all reviews by campingruth
