Agree with all previous reviews, top spot. Trust sat nav and you will find. Parked up mid afternoon, busy with cars coming and going mostly dog walkers. But quite overnight. We parked up at second car park by old slipway , perfect.View all reviews by davee10
Found by chance looking for somewhere to have lunch, so lovely we decided to stay overnight. Two areas of level car park overlooking the Firth. Stunning views over to Arran, Ailsa Craig & the Sound of Bute. Plenty of bins and benches.View all reviews by TheSherratts
Walk one way to the small harbour with resident seals and a fab chippy. Walk the other along ballast (Irish soil) bank to South Beach. Good for bird and boat watching.
Adjacent to wood processing plant so some noise during the day but didn't bother us. Busy with locals enjoying the view until early evening. Quiet thereafter.
Perfect! Plenty of space in the first car park area. A very quiet evening spent watching the storm clouds over Arran and the fishing fleet returning.View all reviews by flyingbluedog
Level car park. Bins. Nice walks.
Parking spaces are behind the timber mill ( work a late shift) This is also a favorite spot for the local youth to pull up in their cars. Spaces in the middle section are deep enough for a 8m motorhome but it then tapers out to a narrower section by a concrete slipway, a dead end. Great views out to sea.Troon is unimpressive unless you are into golf but The Lido bistro is excellent and worth the 20 minute walk into town.View all reviews by broadsranger
Nice walk S/W along the top of the grassed sea defence. Morrisons supermarket in town.
Spent one night here in the fist part of the car park, couple of cars came and went but nothing out of the ordinary, had a peaceful night other than the wind blowing from the west but still enjoyable, plenty of bins provided in both car parksView all reviews by KevReay73
Excellent place to park up. Very level. Plenty of spaces.View all reviews by primrosemary
Few boy racers around early evening but then very quiet.
Only used this as a stopover on way South so not sure distances to shops, pubs etc.
Bear left by Glennon timber and there are loads of large parking spaces.
Lovely little spot right next to the firth of Clyde. Had very peaceful 2 nights there. A few vans were there but well spaced apart as there are actually 2 sections to use. Very close to the town and even a nice walk via the coastal path if desired. Troon has a swimming pool if you need to freshen up and costs £3.10 for a swim and the use of showers and hairdryer etc.View all reviews by replicas
Excellent stay by the harbour. Shame when we were there the weather was terrible but on a good day I recon the views would be superb! Turn left just by the wood working place; don't go into the actual port/harbour! Lovely way along the embankment too - even in pouring rain!View all reviews by gooniechris
