stayed 2 night's not sure if this is in the Blue zone parking or not, as we never seen a traffic warden. We purchased the Blue badge parking disk at Gammon store across the canalView all reviews by brianrsmith
€1.75. The blue zone restrictions are from 9am / 6pm with 4 hrs free using the parking disk. We loved beautiful Bruges. had amazing beer (Kwak 8.5%) and Praline chocolate.
We did as suggested and parked down a side street on the other side of the canal, pretty much opposite this site. No parking limits there. Came back at 4pm and put up my Blue Badge and parking timer and all ok. Considering the position near a busy road it was quiet and we had a good night’s sleep. Took me 40 mins to walk into the centre of town (20min for the able bodied!). Lovely city, plenty to see and do, and eat esp if you like chocolate and waffles!View all reviews by Smurf60
We found this after reading on SFS and did as suggested we parked on the other side of the river during the day near to one of the entrances by the windmills for free it was nearer too then went to this place to park at 8pm as couldn’t decide if it was within the blue zone or not. So the next day we went to the bookstore on the square and purchased a blue zone parking time disc and used that the second night as it gives you 4hrs free before 8pm. Great place to visit Bruge. Quiet at night.View all reviews by eileena
Having been here for one night we have just been jnformed by a local that there is now a four hour limit on parking here and you need to display a discView all reviews by eddie889
Secluded location by the river which is nice. However, we received a parking ticket because we were before 8pm which was €30. This space is just inside the city's blue zone so it's best to park over the canal during the day.View all reviews by darcykeane
Several campervan parking spaces at very end of Kolenkaai. Didn't understand blue disc parking scheme (!) so didn't stay here. Also temporary 'clearway' signs put up. Found alternative at Magdelenastraat, see entry on this site.View all reviews by stu62
Stayed here for 2 nights. Quiet at night but traffic noise from early morning. Only saw one other camper. Quite a slope so had to use ramps.View all reviews by sydh
Stopped here to visit Bruges. Easy walk in to the old town along quaint streets of old houses. Quiet spot right beside the canal. Some traffic noise from busy road on the other side of the canal. NB bays are 6m so longer vans will need to overhang the grass but note the bays slope up toward the grass a bit.View all reviews by bertiebuggie
Stayed one night here to visit Bruges on the way to Holland. We were the only van there which was a bit unnerving to start but in the end it was a great stopover with no problems and despite being close to the road it was very quiet. Easy 10 min ride into town on the bikes which we left at the station and then walked around the town, cycled back around the path alongside the ring road where there are a couple of windmills worth a look at.View all reviews by admin
Would use this stop again if passing.
Great park up. Very quiet overnight and close to the centre of Bruges. We cycled which, with kids, took about 10 mins to get to the main square. Bruges was very nice, we bought a Christmas decoration in lace and some Chocolate. There is a Carrefore just down the road kind of opposite where you park and a Lidl and Aldi are across the canal. We are about 7m long and had to overhang the grass verge. Anything longer wouldn’t fit. Also, we struggled to find toilets nearby.View all reviews by northernsoul1977
A great overnight spot in Brugge. Quiet and right next to both a canal and cycle route. About 20 min walk into the centreView all reviews by byronlewis
Lovely spot with room for about 20 vans, overlooking the canal. There's a Carrefour nearby and the centre of Bruges is a 20 minute walk, less than the walk from the aire with services near the station. No services but otherwise perfect.View all reviews by anitajones1
