Great location, 15 minute walk into town. Great welcome, friendly staff. Toilet, water and waste. Also let us use the car park the following day to visit the castle, well worth a visit

As others have said, what a great find. Toilets were open when we visited but no showers, club bar was nice and served quality beers. Not much of a view but hey, it's somewhere to get off the road without the restrictions of a camp site.

Booked ahead and paid on arrival £10/n, no electric. Great friendly welcome, pitch where you want, preferably round the edges of the rugby pitches. EHU are concentrated near the field entrance with choice of grass or hardstanding. Waste is emptied down a manhole with rinsing tap next to it. Fresh drinking water is located a little further away. We left site each day and just racked up on a new spot each time we returned. 20 minute walk to Alnwick gardens and castle.

Very decent find. Good value with EHU. Typical rugby club bar but nice for a couple of pints in the evening especially outside if weather permits. Alnwick is lovely but bit of a trek to ealk but doable. Recommended and would stay here again. Showers not open due to Covid but loos were.

Phoned Rugby club and had a favourable response from the manager and just turned up and paid when they opened at 5. Great location for visiting Alnwick and £15 for pitch including EHU. Bargain and highly recommended.

Great place to stay if youre visiting Alnwick. Plenty of space, water, hook-up and toilets open (Aug 2020)
which were very clean. Great value for money and Michelle was very helpful!! Co-Op close by, fish and chip shop, Sainsbury’s, M&S Food and Esso garage all wihin walking distance. Only a 15 min walk in to Alnwick and the castle. (Sadly dogs arent allowed in the castle or the grounds/gardens and due to Covid limited numbers allowed in and pre-booked tickets only.). We would definitely recommend if you’re looking for an inexpensive place to stop close to Alnwick!

Stayed 4 nights 2 with EHU £15 and 2 no EHU £10. Good level area around the edge of the rugby pitches. Cricket ground next door too. Michelle and staff very welcoming and kept facilities spotless. Toilets (showers closed) fresh water tap and CDP on edge of field. Nice views from field and dogs welcome. Pleasant walk into town nice assortment of shops. Sainburys a short walk away on retail park. Carlos chippy very good chips. We used an all day bus ticket to see Bamburgh and Seahouses.

Fantastic find , we called in on off chance and was warmly welcomed site had only just re opened everything for social distancing was in place and clearly signed. We had a walk into redcar and watched some evening fishing boats going out then called for fish and chips on way back. we went into club house and had a few drinks then bedded down for a lovely quiet sleep. Next morning walked into Saltburn a good 4 miles but lovely walk down beach which is only couple of mins from rugby club. Will definitely go back.

Spent a great 2 nights here. Easy to cycle into town. Unfortunately you need to pre book the gardens and the castle was closed due to Covid19. Showers and toilets were available but we used our onboard facilities. At £10 a night or £15 with EHU, great value.

We turned up without booking as our intentions were to stay on another site which got our dates wrong. The Staff at the Rugby Club were friendly they were able to accomodate us and made us feel very welcome. The pitches are perfectly placed for watching the local sport or venturing into town. Glad we stayed and we’ll be coming back here again.

As mentioned previously the staff are very friendly and helpful. Perfect location for visiting Alnwick as everything you will need is within walking distance. If you are not a walker then the bus stops near the entrance to the club. We will definitely use this site again when we are in the area.

Mostly level or slight sloping grass. Some HS and limited EHU (call to check availability EHU and HS but plenty grass space). We stayed with C&CC rally and had discounted camping at bargain £8 per night but usual price still very reasonable at £10 pun without EHU or £15 with EHU. Large Motorhomes and awnings ok (extra charges). Great facilities included - 24hr access to clean toilets, hot showers and club bar most evenings. Supermarket over road. Bus route. Town & Castle walking distance.

Stayed for only one night and paid £10 for electric hook up. Good value! Showers in the rugby building were communal and nearly took my skin off they were so hot (no thermostat so be careful). It is a good 20 minute hike in to the town and a canny climb back up the hill too. All in all you get a lot for your money.

A great spot to stay to explore Alnwick. 20 minutes walk into town. Facilities in the club house open 24 hours. Clean and smart. A few pitches on hard standing but most on grass - no problems though and quite level with a bit of manoeuvring.

Great place to stay, safe and quiet, cost £10 (no hook up) and showers and loos were opened for us. About 20 mins walk into the town, which we loved. Try The Tanners for a quirky pub, 6 ales on draft, and good duke box. We spent a lovely morning in Alnwick Gardens - highly recommended.

Camping available by the side of the Rugby pitches. Facilities are clean. The showers have plenty of hot water, however it is a communal drying area. £10 per night plus £5 for electric. Easy walk to buy provisions. Just under a mile to walk into a lovely market town, plus a further 10 mins to the castle. Entrance to the castle is approx £15 plus approx another £11 for the gardens. Look to book on line as there is a saving to be made. A great place.

Great little site with camping around the pitches. Facilities nice and clean staff friendly. Paid the £10 at the bar found our own pitch. Quite sheltered from large trees. Good value for money, handy access to the A1. We used sat navy coordinates rather than postcode, took us right to the door, keep an eye for rugby sign at entrance or could miss it.
