Emptying toilet and grey water is towards the back of the garage from the cabinet, there is a hook hanging on the wall to pull the lid up. Very quiet overnight in the village. we made a diversion on our arctic tour just to see this "village".We parked for free across the road beside the service station and walked around freely. We drove north afterwards and found it quite easy to find an off road stop for the night.

A large hardstanding area set aside for approximately 40 motorhomes/caravans. It is right next to Santa Clause Village just a two minute walk, which has many shops and restaurants. Parking is free and it's also free to see Father Christmas. There are two places to see him but the one in Santa Claus Office is by far the better as you walk through scenes to get to him. There's someone there to take a photo of you with FC as you're not allowed to take your own photo (it's the only place in the village where you can't use your camera) The photos are pricey but there is no pressure to buy. There is a bus, number 8 that goes from the village to the small town of Rovanamie and costs 14 euros return for 2 people. The Shell garage opposite has all the facilities needed for your motorhome. The chemical dump and grey water go down the same hole. It's to the back of the garage on the left as you're facing it, there's a hook on the recessed wall to lift the lid. There is fresh water in the glass fronted cabinet on the side of the garage. The Arctic Circle runs through the village and there is also a sculpture and sign a short distance up the road (turn right as you leave the village car park.
