Great spot by the castle, easy walk into town.View all reviews by lexT
Very little noise from the road, but stop start generator from the hospital kept me up all night.

Flat parking area under the wall, convenient for visiting the castle, town and as a starting place for the various walks in the area. Quiet at night except for the hum of machinery and the occasional siren from the hospital across the way. The castle is well worth a visit. They have put a lot of work into the presentation of the keep - take up the offer of the ipads included in the ticket price. Main square was being refurbished - going to be good next season.View all reviews by vanessavan

Lovely free parking spot beneath the walls of the castle, which is very interesting to visit: augmented reality iPad 360-degree re-creation of the interior rooms included in the entry fee.View all reviews by simonp

Stayed here on a Sunday night. Exciting and surreal to be camping next to william the Conqueror s castle. The patisserie across the road sells delicious food and their baguettes are great. Had an enjoyable visit to the castle and stroll around a very pretty town.View all reviews by stansearch

A great spot for overnighting - only 45 mins from Ouistreham. Town looks lovely although only a transactional stop over for us ready for a ferry. Would come again.View all reviews by themotoroamers

Very large parking area, there were 17 motorhomes parked overnight. The castle was very interesting to visit. It was a sunday evening but the cafe opposite was open for drinks and pastries when we arrived, although it closed shortly after. Monday morning a lot of the shops in the town were shut.View all reviews by kainene

Stayed here overnight a couple of weeks ago. Brilliant location in the centre of a lovely town. It is near a busy road which I thought might be noisy at night but we weren't disturbed at all. No services at all - it is basically a large car park in which motorhomes are apparently 'tolerated' but there is plenty of room. It was easy to find as it is on the main road into townView all reviews by 3264blanchard
