We got the only pitch available, P10. The only problem with this pitch is that everyone walks past you from the sides, front and rear so a little annoying. We were told by a man who stays there a lot that when it rains heavily all the water drains behind you into the drain and it smells. Apart from that the Aire is clean and well presented and good value for money.

Located on the banks of the Canal du Nord with a great cycleway/walkway along it. Sites are separated by flowerbeds with the option for electricity/water (choose which facilities you need on entry to the gate). Apparently the water-park next to the Aires has good food, though we didnt try. Level, quiet and safe. Clearly some people stay here a while and do day trips on the train - the station is about a 10-15 minute wak away and its about 2 hours into Paris. Plenty of hustory here and the canal is popular with fishermen.

we stayed here for 2 nights! Very clean and safe. Electric hook up €4 for 24hours + €3 for parking including tax. In door swimming pool next to park we all went in, the water is warm and good showers with free large hair dryer. or you can go bowling and ice skating. we only did the swimming pool which was great! There is Lidls and burger king or nice walk along the canal, good for dogs.

The earthworks refered to previously may well have been the planting of shrubs and trees between the canal and the aire, which when they grow larger may well spoil the view over the canal but may also stop people walking between the vans. A lovely spot will use it again.

Great little stopover, 8€ for the night with EHU. Short walk into town where there are bars, didn’t sample the cuisine so can’t comment. Just what you need after 12 hours on the road, a no nonsense stopover

Excellent. Looks like recently been upgraded. €3 incl local taxes. Elsan disposal free. Didn't need other services which are chargeable. Easy walk into town. Peaceful despite proximity to town. Great pain au chocolat and pain rustique from the local boulangerie.

Didnt like this spot at all, earthworks going on along the river didn't help. Lots of people hanging about. All looked a bit 'seedy' and swiftly moved on.

Good site to stop overnight while visiting lovely town. Room for 10 vans and felt perfectly safe as we were the ninth van there. Close to canal and swimming pool also just along the road there is a McDonalds that serves excellent coffee.. Quiet and peaceful on a Wed night

The Aire now has 10 places, each a nice size with EHU available if wanted, and each of the places separated by kerbed Islands to prevent vans parking too close together. Handy for visiting the cathedral. Wee ni

Nice location with 30min walk of the centre and Basilica.

Not to sure about security as visitors to the water park were constantly walking between the vans.

The barrier system stops the place getting over crowded as it wont allow more vans to stop if it is full. You can even leave the site with the your van with the intention of returning and your space will be saved.

The 5 new spaces seem ready to be opened but were still taped off when we were there.

We arrived at 4pm and there were 3 vans already in place. By 5pm it was full

The site looked nice, but despite having only 4 out of 8 spaces occupied, the barrier said it was full.
We only wanted to add water and could pull alongside the water point outside the aire. However, we were unable to get / pay for the water without the barrier code for an overnight stay. Very frustrating. Wasted trip.

We stayed for 2 nights. The first night, Saturday, was quite noisy, loud music until midnight, not sure if it was a one off as there was a firework display also but Sunday was very quiet. It seems to be popular for fishing in the canal but don't know if any permits are needed. There are a couple of bars and restaurants in walking distance and it is only a couple of miles from the town centre.
