Wonderful location. Site now open again. Right on lakeside. Bit pricey, £26 for ehu, £19 without. We stayed during covid19 facilities shut due to water problem. Public toilets available next to cafe. Delicious cake and savoury gallettes at cafe.
Rated facilities low as not open, not even chemical disposal point although ranger said to use disabled loo to empty chemical loo

THIS IS NO LONGER TRADING FOR OVERNIGHT STAYS. We went yesterday to be told they were UNDER DISCUSSION to decide if they will open again. There are five lake sites owned by the same group. I do hope they decide to reopen again as the cycle path is great and the lake looks lovely. You CAN HOWEVER pay and display during the day in the car park then move on. Well worth contacting the group (go on their website for telephone nember) as its a lovely peaceful place to stay if they reopen. I had to fill out rating but dont know about facilities.
