The site did accept the ACSI discount and was a short walk from the wine town of Turckheim. Easy to travel to the beauiful city of Colmar by bus or train. Large modern facilities block and polite and helpful staff. Pitches were a good size and you can pay a supplement to park alongside a stream. Would definitely use again.

Would agree with last review, well run site, always busy so need to arrive before midday. In our enthusiasm, we got there at 10.30 and there was an additional fee of 5 euros for early arrival. Lovely town, we went to the Night Watchman parade at 10pm at the Tourist Information. We also used the train to go to Colmar, ticket machine at Turckheim was difficult but very easy at Colmar. Don't forget to validate your ticket at the yellow machine before getting on the train.

Further to our earlier review, this was the only site that charged for our two cats, 5€ per day. The Cranes were a nice wildlife feature of the site.

Camping Medieval had plenty of space in October when we visited. Choice of pitch, modern facilities in shower block and conveniently located service point. Staff welcoming with good English. Turckheim is a very well preserved medieval town and worth a walk around.

Good site, very friendly reception staff. Given choice of pitches we could choose. Some are smaller than others but most are a decent size. Acsi €15 per night, waterfront pitch and extra €2 per night.
Sanitary block was clean and although busy on site no wait on showers. one mixed area and another for ladies only. Free wifi all over site.
easy access into Colmar we took the train at under €11 return for the 2 of us and buses run regularly too.
Turkheim nice village too plenty of restaurants to choose from. Would happily stay again!

This campsite was the towns municipal site and re-named, at first it looks ok but when you look deeper it needs lots of work doing to it, they have built a new toilet block but its only one block to service the whole site, good size pitches but a little bit worn in places,it is also on the edge of 2 direlict wharehous building so this does spoil any views as for the good points its just a 2 min walk to the town and this is worth a visit, train stn 3 mins walk away and it takes 9 mins to Colmar, hire car avail at colmar train station, site has free wifi all over site and 5 pairs of storks walk around the site
