Excellent spot for the night and we were on our own even in August. Didn't even get out of the van because it was raining really heavily but noticed on our way out that there's a pub, a chinese, a shop and a post office within a short walk. Couldn't see electric hook up or a means of paying. Showers were by waterways card.View all reviews by stevengshaw
Excellent spot but disconcerting approach as you're driving along the towpath. We parked and walked to make sure the satnav wasn't telling porkies! All good & a lovely quiet night.View all reviews by ceejayed
53.27528 -6.83522 Parking overlooking the junction of the Grand Canal and Barrow Line. Toilets open during the day, automatically locked at night. Water and showers need a card to access. From here we drove to Cobh.View all reviews by ufo1
Very quite and of the beaten track, a newish facility for showers and loos, no bay markings, no signs to say no camping. A pleasant stop.View all reviews by carolinenick
