Applefields is a small family run campsite situated among fields, woodland & meadow land, close to the small town of Leiston on Suffolk's heritage coast. Our site is within walking distance of shops, Restaurants, Steam Museum, Cinema & Sports centre (with swimming pool). The site is approx 3 acres of flat, well draining grassland, even after a heavy rain, our site is still firm under foot, also our part of Suffolk is the dryest part of the UK!!.

This is a lovely site run by very friendly & helpful owners. The site is fairly level throughout and space around you is good. EHU was £16 when i stayed, £13 without. I think this is a standard price through the year. Nice toilet & shower block, showers are a 50p donation into the money tin, which is in a room in the same block. There is also a microwave to use if you need it.
Its a good base for all that is around Leiston and I fully recommend it. Please note: open March to December

Friendly little site. Just a field basically but with facilities. No separation between pitches so no seclusion but we had the place more or less toourselves.
5 minute walk to the town. Engineers pub, opposite steam museum, very friendly and had music on. Not much else although another pub did food.
