We arrived mid Feb very wet very windy in most places but this carpark was well sheltered. No overnight for caravans. I wasn’t a caravan though my wife suggested I was splitting hairs! Public toilets at the carpark only open March to October. Anyway no one seemed in the least bit concerned. We ate at the Plockton Inn very nice food and wandered theough the village the next morning. Very friendly local people. Had coffee and bacon butties in the Plockton Hotel very friendly also they have shower facilities in the summer £3.50 money goes to charity. Quite narrow roads so a little bitbof confidence required.View all reviews by Mjos50

Does say no overnight for Caravans. We were fine.
Stopped here overnight. Arrived about 9pm and carpark deserted.
Lovely spot. Unfortunately the rain all the night was unbelieveable never known rain like it.
Went ro the Plockton Inn with our dog very welcoming. Good sellection of hi s & whiskey.
All in all a great spot.
As the previous review states, the signs are quite clear, but they say: "No overnight parking for Caravans". Campers are permitted and we had a lovely evening. Plokton is a perfectly peaceful place and if you are looking for peace and quiet with a lovely Scottish view, this is the spot for you. The pubs are a really short walk away and there is a good 'chippy' just at the entrance to the carpark. We will definitely be back. For me the only thing missing was the Piper who used to play from the shoreline when I used to come here on a boat as a child.View all reviews by ludoj0bl
We stopped here hoping to stay in our motorhome overnight. The signs are very clear, no sleeping overnight in this carpark so moved on to a site at Kyleakin a few miles up the road. We did have fish n chips at local shop and these were great. Nice to walk around Plockton but would not want to visit in summer when it is busy.....to narrow for motorhomes to negotiate parked cars etc. There are public toilets, donation given community run. No other facilities apart from rubbish bins.View all reviews by johnandmaree
Fabulous place to stay. Quite busy when we arrived but still managed to secure a spot at far end of car park. Toilets and water point close by. Very quiet at night. Lovely easy walks.View all reviews by Jules15
Level tarmac car park in quiet setting with a great view over the quay and a stone's throw from village amenities (pub, shop, fish & chips etc). Free (although they ask for a donation) toilets open 8am-8pm. The signs make it clear there should be no motorhomes or overnight camping, but we arrived too late to explore other options so based ourselves right at the end of the car park, with one other motorhome. In the morning, we moved onstreet round the corner. Beautiful village, worth a stop.View all reviews by southerner14
Convenient stop at the end of car park, only sign visible says no caravans....Lovely location within the village. Scenic route, single track negotiated comfortably. The fish&chips were very disappointing so I wouldn’t recommend sadly. Pretty walks and places to sit and take in the views......View all reviews by ditherers
Great stop over. The plockton inn just back up the road had brilliant meal and next day enjoyed a boat trip to see the sea life. Then a fish and chip lunch. Toilets in car park open 8am-8pm. Bins and recycling bins. The sign says no overnight in the small print broad but after read details remarks had a quiet night and no one said a thing. Locals all very friendly.View all reviews by marleytops
Cracking overnight stay on a carpark with toilet facilities. The access is via a quiet single track road about 3 mile long but next passing point is always visible.View all reviews by daveangel
There are some nice little walks with stunning views and there are even some boat trips avaliable.
There are a couple of local pet friendly pubs selling some quality beers and good food.
We would defiantly use this stop again.
