Toilets open from 8am until 10pm in Summer.
Lovely walk along the canal.
Had a nice quiet overnight stop. 3 other units were there aswell. The only thing that disturbed us was the sheep passing through the car park. Decided to stay on in the morning until 11 o’clock for awalk along the canal so cost us £1.20 for our extra time. Would deffinitely go back. A nice stop over.View all reviews by mandomad19
Having been woken at 1pm by high revving engines I looked out of the window to see what can only be described as a scene out of Fast and Furious !!! Three sets of car headlights in the centre of the car park pointing at our motorhome with the drivers repeatedly flooring the accelerator with the engines screaming!! Mmmmmm Tuesday night what is wrong with these mindless, brainless youngsters!! Well moan over we sat there till 1:50am when they all departed back to their caves!! Enough was enough. Wife unsettled, 12 year old labrador on a broken nights sleep ???????? we left the site!! Its not lit’ too remote and we won’t be coming back. Choose carefully people ..........View all reviews by MazandPaddy
Large, gravel car park overlooking the meadows. £6 to park all day and free overnight. Enjoyed a nice trip on the canal. Five minutes walk into Cromford village with a few pubs and shops - we were recommended The Boat which had great beer and a lovely coal fire.View all reviews by 3264blanchard
Perfect place for a stopover. We stayed two nights and it was perfect for cycling along the canal also a nice walk into Matlock with bus back. It was £6 a day to park and free from 8pm till 9am. There are toilets which are open till 7 pm. The car park man comes around at about 8-45 am to empty meters so make sure you have your ticket upto date. Very quiet at nightView all reviews by bucko

Parking is Free but only between 20:00 and 09:00. Nice spot with some very interesting Industrial Archeology Sites. Cromford Mill built by Richard Arkwright was the first Industrial Mill in the World and started the Industrial Revolution.View all reviews by tankiemike

Stopped here for a bite to eat. Pleasant canal setting. Across the road from Cromford Meadows is the Cromford Mills Car Park with signage for all day parking for Motorhomes, did not stay the night but could see no signs preventing overnight stops. Picture added of current charges. No facilities other than toilet in the main Mills car park. Canal boat pleasure trips available.View all reviews by mandomad19
