Quite a busy little area but was quiet overnight. Great dog walking spot. Great view to wake up to.

Gem of a site. Ignore the first small car park on the left and carry on down the road. The 2nd FREE car park is much larger (40ish car spaces?) with great access to info boards, paths, etc. We stayed for a while during the day along with 5 other MHs. No facilities, beyond the car park itself, but no notices saying overnight stops weren't allowed. Quiet & private.

Really lovely spot. Actually parked in the spaces just as you came in as there was another motorhome there and it was dark. There were a few cars with youngsters during the evening but they weren’t a problem. Very quiet night - woken about 7am by the bin lorries but that just shows they’re keeping it clean. Great view for breakfast in the morning. Definitely recommend.

Stayed on a Sunday night.
There is loads of room in the far car park with great views and access to cliff top walks and a secluded stoney beach. The beach access is very steep at the car park side but if you walk along the top to the other side there are some stone steps down. Last time I stayed here a car arrived at 2am and a couple of lads were talking loudly and playing music; there were lads in cars until late evening this time but they were courteous so I'm glad I gave it another go

Lovely spot by the sea. As others have said, deive rhrough the first car park. Very quiet overnight with only one other van here. Sunday morning saw many dog walkers braving the elements.
No parking restrictions in place.

Superb spot. Go past first small parking area to huge space. Bins emptied daily, 9 am one day & 7 am bank holiday Saturday! Steepish path to pebble beach. Short walk to Asda & the promenade shops/pubs. No boy racers & surprisingly few walkers. Shame we need to move on!

was very good spot. lovely views and walks along the beach. Also short walk to supermarket and town. Good bin and was being emptied the morning we left. There were some cars arriving and leaving and playing loud music between 10pm and 11ish but not excessive and did quieten down and no other noise. several cars arrived early morning wirh dog walkers but we had no complaints and would stop there again.

Stunning views. Bit of a steep climb down to the beach and back. We only stayed for a few hours because didn't feel secure in the car park, too many people coming and going, with a few undesirable characters hanging around.

A fabulous spot. A two-tiered car park on the edge of the East Durham coastal path. An area full of colliery history and with great views this is a super place to stop over for the night. Busy with walkers in the mooning and the occasional lorry stops overnight here too. Check out the beach for Seaham Glass and find Tommy in the town only 5 mins drive away.

Had a quite nice day walking the cliff paths and beach just down from the car park. Stayed midweek so didn't have too much trouble with cars and noise however another van decided to share his generator noise until the early hours!. Beautiful spot to watch the sun rise over the sea. Nice place for dog walks. Slightly sloping car park but we did without ramps. Only facilities are bins.

Ok for a quick overnighter. Some lovely views and walks. We stopped on friday night and was a bit noisey with cars and stereos and beeping horns to keep us awake. Quietened by 11 then dog walkers start rolling in when its first light.

Ok for an overnight . We stayed on a Saturday night , possibly the worst night for boy racers and their very loud music, even had an ambulance call to one of them at 1.45am, maybe just unlucky on the night . Nice scenery , right on clifftop, 15 min walk into town with supermarket etc No facilities , but picnic tables etc ..

Smashing location 15 minutes walk to Seaham. Lots of walking paths to choose from. Easy to find. Quite sloping, so despite the ramps we were a bit down by the head, but worth it for the seaview out of the front windscreen. Recommended.
