Probably my favourite wild camp for s long time. Lovely location and village.View all reviews by stringy
If you intend to park on the grass you will need ramps for most if the field. We parked at the top of the quayside on concrete.
Unfortunatley the pub was booked for meals so either book in advance or bring enough food to cook.
I love this place, great little harbour, little shop , post office, pub, cafe , public toilet with outside tap, people really friendlyView all reviews by ian1801
Gravel and grass car park, grass on a slight slope. Lovely harbour an views of several headlands. The village has a post office (closes 1pm) and a cafe open until 4pm. Pub/restaurant by the harbour edge. Six vans in tonight. In rain, the grass could be a bit soft. Well kept area. No cost.View all reviews by radioham
Stayed here for one night, leisure batteries running low, got plugged in on the harbour, two coin operated metres in a box near the Harbourmasters office.View all reviews by weligman
One electric point near the pub has a standard domestic three pin plug socket and the other just at the harbour has a large size round pin socket. You can sometimes borrow an extension to plug in from the Harbourmaster.
Just stayed for two nights, lovely place, toilets, water and showers if needed. Lovely cafe and pub. Everyone we met very friendly and helpful. Working port and boats coming and going and unloading. Lovely, will return.View all reviews by brensdirectory
Parked in the carpark backed onto the harbour. In October the toilets were still open - many other places it was May - Sept. Good meal in the pub 50 yds away. We were the only van there. Excellent place.View all reviews by alistairgillies
Brilliant. Sloping grass field had about 10 m/homes of varying sizes when we stayed. Toilet and tap at entrance, can have shower £1 at harbour masters office, 24hr, basic, hot water & private, launderette also there. Excellent if have dog as walk up to small light house and St Ninians chapel plus well signed coastal walk over other side of harbour. Dog friendly Steam Packet inn, just round corner for meals. Café/shop on way in did takeaway snacks & gorgeous cakesView all reviews by inca
Great view over the harbourView all reviews by gtandft
We chose not to park on the field as there were places facing the harbour. Toilets and tap available.
Saw a sign for showers and washing machines but did not need to use them.
Very nice spot for an overnight stay, great views and walks. Pub 5 mins away.View all reviews by boringfrog
