We booked table as on a Sunday kitchen closes at 19:00 but they appeared to be taking orders at least until 19:15 as two families came in -good for them!!View all reviews by flyingbluedog
Only downside we felt that whilst the food was delicious and unusual, the staff friendly, a £100 bill for two for three courses with aperitifs and a bottle of wine high for a ‘pub’.
Inside there is also nowhere to sit unless it is at a table, if you just want a drink.
No. 40 bus stops almost outside into Swanage
great pub stop over. Large flat car park . Empty on a Friday night. Ring ahead to book a table and they will give you a parking permit for the overnight stopover .View all reviews by edd74
Road noise as mentioned before but hardly noticeable. Will use again
Called and booked meal for 7.30 was told no problem to park motorhome overnight free in car park. Large gravel car park, noisy traffic. Lovely meal and drinks good service, would use again.View all reviews by dderham
Excellent place to stop for a night when visiting Corfe Castle, which is only a few minutes drive down the road. Very friendly staff with excellent food. A bit pricey, but food was worth the money spent. The car park is gravelled and flat but park with the bed side of the Moho facing away from the road because the traffic noise is quite bad and didn’t ease up till very late.View all reviews by pamelabanks
Been here several times with both Camper and Full MoHo set up, no facilities, but the CP is flat, and the sky is dark, wonderful place to look at the stars in the evening.View all reviews by steco1958
The Halfway Inn is an old coaching inn, with good food and good beer, staff very attentive, will be going back there without a doubt
We stayed here on a Friday evening with another motorhome we are travelling with. Plenty of room in the gravelled car park - we had an enjoyable meal in the pub which has lots of character. Great location to visit Circe Castle.View all reviews by ozerv
Stayed on. Saturday night. The pub was so busy we had to sit outside in a heated area which was very pleasant. Nice large flat car park with the only downside being the road noise but that didn't bother us too much.View all reviews by kevrowan
Food and service really good. Very friendly and the overnight parking is at the far end of the car park with a nice view of the purbecks. Level gravel surface (better than some camp sites we have been to). It is on a main road so there's a bit of road noise but after a good meal and a few drinks you don't notice :-) would recommend.View all reviews by davebev53
Stayed here on a Saturday night in July. Booked ahead and pleased we did as busy pub/restaurant. Friendly, warm welcome. Lovely pub with good food and service. Car park mainly level. Busy road but traffic clears by 11 ish and we slept very well. Great location. 3 miles from Corfe castle and close to steam railway plus Wareham and Swanage. Would recommend.View all reviews by raffles600
Fantastic stop at Halfway Inn, Wareham. Huge carpark. Excellent food. Very doggy friendly too. Some road noise but didn't bother us in the slightest. Just rang beforehand to ask & book a table for dinner. We booked for 7.30pm, arrived at 4pm and was told our table was ours for the whole night so we could come & go as we pleased. Definitely one to recommend.View all reviews by cmoon
Lovely pub in a great location. Large level car park which is well lit until the pub closes. Staff are absolutely lovely. Had a meal which was of a good standard and value for money.View all reviews by primrosemary
It is on a busy road which does quieten down late evening.
Handy location for Wareham, Corfe Castle, Studland, Swanage etc.
Would highly recommend.
