Great place to stay. Superb views to wake up to. Not so good if the cloud is low and the wind picks up! Quiet and very dark. Hope the cafe is rebuilt

The car park of Hartside Cafe, a great cafe, you are allowed to stay here for free, so buy something at the cafe. The road towards Penrith from the cafe is a brilliant road for to have fun with a motorbike, so expect motorbikes travelling at speed, it is also a challenging hill on the C2C cycle way. So expect cyclists in need of oxygen. A brilliant place for sunsets, you might not want to stay here if high winds are forecast, accessible to all MoHo sizes.
