Great quiet, sheltered spot! Stayed the night here in october, just off the main road but far enough away to get away from any passing traffic. No other vehicles until around 10am the next day when a mountain biker showed up. No sign of any midges either, must’ve timed it right.

Good quiet gravel car park, out of sight of main road. No facilities just a peaceful nights sleep.
Bike trails are excellent.
Beware midges at dusk, ok rest of time.

Car park for mountain biking and walking trails: Look out for the signs on the main road pointing to mountain bike trail. Car park is slightly sloping with a gravel surface. It's about 100m off the road, but this is right out in the sticks and the road is very quiet. Views over Lough Bofin. Probably room for a couple of motorhomes, though we were the only ones there overnight. The mountain bike trail is not "expert level" and can be used by novices. There was a bit of a plague of midges in the evening in early July.
