This is a very good site with amazing views of the ocesn and the hills beyond. We checked in for 4 nights but as it was busy could only get EHU for 3. The site is immaculate and is run by the licsl community. It has an on site cafe with panoramic views. It is open until 9pm and yiu csn have everything from breskfast to dinner snd even just a coffee and cake. The food eas excellent; we had dinner there snd reasonably priced. The Port Charlitte Hotel in the village is an alternative, serving fine food for a but extra. The shower and toluet block was spitless but the showers (4) had a communal changing area which was like being back at school. We did not use the washing up area.View all reviews by Martin1265

We like this campsite but usually don’t need ehu so we just stay in the field. (You have to book ehu places in summer to get one) short ealk to Port Charlotte with pubs and restaurants.View all reviews by ceciliap
a really good place. Brilliant views over the bay, great staff and easy quick walk into the village for food and drink.Would go back for sure.View all reviews by ozzo
Lovely location. Short stroll into Port Charlotte with fab restaurant "Yan's" - doesn't allow dogs inside but plenty of picnic benches outside to enjoy the food and view.View all reviews by darrenleese
Site has limited ehu and hard standing. non ehu can pitch anywhere else on the field, just need to keep an eye on the weather as the field gets waterlogged very quickly and would benefit from an access road being put in.
Amazing views! Stunning. We were on hardstanding - only the end pitch has room for an awning otherwise you are very close together. The grass pitches got waterlogged very quickly. On site restaurant & pub are nice. Showers and other facilities were good. Expensive.View all reviews by mattp
1 of only 2 campsites on islay, friendly well run site, limited ehu but plenty room for self contained vans with no pitch restrictions on grass.View all reviews by juejue
