Fabulous campsite. Very basic facilities. Stunning views from all pitches. Village location with a pub serving food an easy walk away. Other tea rooms/ cafes in the village too. We phoned an order to the Red Lion for take out fish and chips. Paid over the phone and walked down to collect. Delicious Yorkshire chips!! Lovely river frontage in the village, with lots of walking near by. Very friendly owner - able to pay electronically. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay - sorry we’d only discovered it on the last day of our holiday! £20 a night - which is a bit pricey for the facilities - but location and views make it value for money.View all reviews by sheridan
Perfectly placed, 5 minutes walk into village which has a pub/hotel with plenty of outside space. A further tea shop on the green, limited local bus service nearby. Easy access to the Dales Way and other walks. Perfect hosts. Pitches reasonably flat.View all reviews by johnrey
What a great find this is. As described before this is a farm campsite, but excellent value and has all you will need apart from showers. The turning is opposite the church and is unsigned apart from 'private drive' . This is a well drained field so should be ok most of the time. Short walk into Burnsall. A little gem, and we'll be back.View all reviews by JanieB
Great spot for the money. Entrance located opposite the church. Basic facilities but set in lovely location. One or two electric hook ups, I assume first come first served - not sure of the set up. Lovely walk to Appletreewick and Grassington. Village green has a pub, there is a cafe and an ice cream parlour. Ice cream run by a lovely couple and ice cream is delicious. We got fresh laid eggs money left in honesty box. Definitely would go back.View all reviews by MissDaisy69
At £10 per night well worth the pennies.
Great site - but when weather is good it is VERY busy! Avoid sunny weekends and school holidays.View all reviews by jagat
A little difficult to find on the edge of Burnsall village, the entrance opposite St Wilfrid’s church. Very basic site but clean facilities, toilet and pot washing area with plenty of hot water, also portaloo.View all reviews by brusdrew
Short walk to very pretty village with plenty seating near river, and coffee shops, a small store and a pub. Drinks/food at the Red Lion quite expensive/overpriced. Arriva bus service to Grassington. Popular area for walking and cycling. At £10 per night well worth a visit.
This is a really lovely site, quiet, in fabulous location in a field behind the farm, in the heart of the village. Facilities are basic but has all the essentials. It is difficult to find though, down a lane opposite the village hall. The farm is called Fell Grange and the owner, Ian, is really helpful but as a working farm it is not always easy to locate someone! Best to ring first!View all reviews by lizzo
Recommended this small site/field by a friend & wasn't disappointed. Lovely quiet spot in a field behind the farmers barn. Toilet (Portaloo) available & water (on corner of barn as you enter the field). I did see some EHU's but didn't ask about these. Make sure you call Ian first to book in & also pay him as he says plenty of people just clear off thinking they've got away with it ! Great pub (though expensive) & small tea room in Burnsall village just 5-10 mins walk through fields along good path with 2 more pubs in Appletreewick which took us between 45 mins & 1 hr either along the Dales Way (beautiful & easy walk along riverbank) or along the road (fairly quiet & faster).View all reviews by velomoho
A very basic Farm site with a very friendly Farmer called Ian, we stay here regularly as it's about an hour away and have been coming here for a couple of years now. Very handy for walking along the River Wharf up to Grassington or down to Appletreewick for a pint or at the Red Lion in BurnsallView all reviews by scubado183
