Stayed over here last night, excellent meal and very happy and welcoming staff, the beer is also top notch. Very good COVID measures in place and a nice quiet night on a flat car park.

We rang ahead, and were booked in for a meal and to stay with no problems. Staff friendly and approachable. The food was fine, except my mushroom stroganoff was quite greasy. Large portions, and good value. Quiet night. We didn’t explore outside, as the rain was very heavy for most if the evening.

Had a wonderful overnight stay at this lovely pub; a peaceful, rural setting. Used our own services but enjoyed a delicious dinner in the pub; superb atmosphere and excellent service by all staff members. We rang ahead to book that particular morning; an extra-special welcome from Sally, who `booked` us in for that evening. My husband and I would thoroughly recommend our Kirmington stopover.

Well worth a visit. Called on a Monday night in January, excellent food and service with a smile. Large portions so be prepared.
Not a large car park but easily accessible.
Really friendly staff and very interesting memorabilia in the pub.
Finishing touches in the pub are great, never seen ice buckets as urinals before. We'll done to the designer.

Stopped here for one night. Lovely, friendly little place. Dogs allowed in bar area only. Had a meal and a few drinks. Food was lovely. Stopped over on a Monday so car pak was pretty quiet. Will definately return for another meal there.

Stopped over on our way home from Norfolk, and obviously phoned first. Managed to find a spot in the corner of the car park as advised, on a fairly busy Saturday night. Very friendly staff fed us a fabulous meal in the bar as we had our dog with us. We’re big Guy Martin fans so made an effort to visit and were not disappointed on all counts!

Very popular, ring in advance. We booked a table for Monday evening, arrived at 2pm and car park was crammed. No problem, we drove around and watched the helicopters at nearby Humberside airport. Returned mid afternoon and car park empty. Parked up, had a bevvy, car park full again from 5pm onwards. Lovely staff, great beer, decent food, brilliant memorabilia (Guy Martin’s pub). No facilities outside.

Wonderful Pub! Sally and the 'Tuesday Night Crowd', were very welcoming and friendly despite my late arrival and early departure. I didn't eat on this visit but the food that I saw looked delicious and I aim to return in the future to enjoy a meal and some live music if I can time it right! The venue has lots to look at as well as indoor and outdoor seating for different times of year. It's on my 'favourite's' list! I'll be back - thanks for making me feel like a local...:)

I arrived mid afternoon on Sunday and was luck to be able to park. The staff very friendly the food excellent with generous portions, and I enjoyed the odd beer or 2. I would recommend you give the Marrowbone and Clever a try.

Wanted to visit having read about this pub in guy martins book, made the 3 hr journey from a pub stopover in north wales. Well worth the visit, busy car park on a friday evening best to get in early. Its fairly flat parking too. Enjoyed our evening meal in the resturant which was well priced along with a few english Ales at the bar. A few miles from the local air port, you can hear it at times. Fuel was well priced at the BP just off the motorway compared to some along the way!! Good 10p per litre in it !! ????

Great pub stop. Really friendly staff & locals. We have 2 dogs who were made very welcome. Dogs are allowed in the small bar where we had a delicious meal. The pub closes on Sunday at around 8 pm so had a very quiet night on the car park which is level.

Stayed here on 09/06/17. Was free to stop as long as we were eating a meal or having a drink. Very friendly & helpful staff. Meals were very nice & excellent value for money. The beers were on form & after several pints we wobbled back to our van & had a lovely nights sleep. Had a couple of planes take off from the nearby airport in the morning but wasn't too obtrusive
Lovely location, will return for another stop
No EHU or overnight toilets

warm friendly welcome, good food, good beer, level carpark, though it would be a bit of squeeze for anything much over 8m long especially if there was more than one van parked up.
Quiet and good nights sleep. Would stay again if we were in the area.
