Wonderful spot! Spectacular views all around and incredibly quiet. We parked by the river as it was so relaxing to listen to it all night. There were also several ehu spots along the top fenceline. The toilets were closed due to covid but looked well kept. We made use of the outside tap and sink though. The whole site is level and the turn in and driveway were easy. The chap who came round to collect the money in the morning (we paid £15) was very friendly and helpful. There is also a fantastic round walk from the site which you could do in 3 hours, although we faffed about and visited the castle so took 4! Overall, a really lovely, peaceful site. It was so nice we stayed and extra night.View all reviews by linz2882
Arrived without a booking, noticed small sign at side of the road. Walked over to farmhouse/reception, no answer, so we hooked up electric ourselves.View all reviews by Bucksnfi
Lovely quiet site, with fantastic views. Only one toilet and shower in both ladies and gents, could be an issue if really busy, but spotlessly clean.
Paid £18 incl electric hook up plus £2 for each dog.
Owner happy to give advice on walks and bike routes.
Could not get TV signal.

Wonderful site, with easy access to Abernygolwyn with its community restaurant and the steam railway. Only four of us there on a Saturday night although popular earlier in the week over half term.View all reviews by Ivor3648
Great walks, mountain views and quietness.
This place is so lovely. The owner is so accommodating and friendly and even offered us a lift down to the restaurant up the road, which we decided to walk to a different pub in the opposite direction. Fire grates are available to hire and fire wood is available to buy. The location is STUNNING 360 degrees of beautiful mountainous views with a lovely river flowing through it, which we loved paddling in with our dog. On that subject, dogs are very welcome at a small additional charge. The toilet block only has one toilet and one shower for the men's and one each for the ladies, both of which were kept immaculate. £1 for 5 mins of showertime Access 2cadair idris, we will definitely be back.View all reviews by andyvkeegs
