Camping ground at the yacht club on a river island. Lovely spot, great views and convenient for the city via a small ferry and tram. Update from previous reviews, the ferry is no longer free, that was only during a bridge reconstruction. You will need 24KR cash (90p) which gives you a ticket valid for 30 mins on all public transport, enough to get on the boat across to the tram stop and into the city by tram. The ticket machines take cash and cards, you must validate your ticket, checks are made by plain clothes inspectors (be careful of imposters). Site is a bit scruffy and basic but only 16 EUR per night for van and two adults. Electric is 3 EUR extra if you need it.

Agree with other reviews. Office only open 9-6 (in April anyway), one Moho camped outside for night ok. Cost €19 pn with no EHU. Tokens given for shower, only was warm, but only us here so maybe heated better with more use. Ferry not free, you have to buy tram ticket from Capt and show again on return, 24Kr pp, trams as directed below. Prague beautiful city on both sides of river. Farmers markets on Sat next to ferry stop on quay, Charles Bridge and St Nicolas church a must, steep walk to castle

basic site, a bit scruffy but for the location and price it was very good for 3 night city break, couple of hundred yards outside the camp is a ferry over the river,, every 10 mins and free, you then need the tram 17 at the top of the steps and go 4 stops as that will be the ctr, ticket m/c by tram stop, if you are over 60 you get half price, over 70 is free travel, one day unlimted pass for over 60 was 55 krona, or if you just was the city get a 30 min tkt for 12krona, dogs are allowed on trams

further to my last review, the tram ticket m/c only takes coins but will give change, campsite will take cards as payment and will do exchange, euro only, the rate was not a rip off , the view from my plot is not too bad and i would come back here again

Lovely site with great access to the city by ferry boat. The ferryman gives you a ticket for the trams too so you can get to the old part of the city very easily. Fantastic view of the castle lit up at night.

Perfect for a visit to prague. The campsite is in the middle of the river and you get a water ferry to access the city.
Facilities are basic but clean and wifi is free.
Great views of the castle at night.
