Followed the directions through the council housing estate, which doesn’t inspire confidence.View all reviews by nutbrowndog
Should have turned around then as once darkness fell the area became a skid pan for the local youths, it all settled down after about 1am
Don’t think I would recommend this place, even though the views are cracking
Lovely quiet spot looking out to sea next to pwllheli marina. Drive passed weatherspoons passed parking areas on left 200yrs take left into housing estate, follow road till you enter caravan site passed reception on you will see yellow sign no access to beach ignore and follow road on right. Watch for pot holes park on right after monument as end of road soft sand. We spent night here with another motorhome no trouble only the odd Fisher man and dog walkers. No facilities available.View all reviews by daveandjoanne
Good veiws. Rough track full of holes. Piles of sand and grit up to 25Ft behind us. settled for night when group of lively youths parked next to us with booming music. Scrambling up and down grit slopes.View all reviews by CollieTed
we made a quick exit. Unlucky but it was a Sat night.
To access you need to drive through council estate and then the Gimblet Rock caravan park. Go right through to the end to reach potholed track opening up to shingle area. Be cateful where you drive as can get stuck. Fabulous views, no facilities just a doggy poo bin. We didnt stop as needed to eat in town, but recommended.View all reviews by gizzygirl
stayed here for the night ,no facilities and it's quite a way from the town so stock up .after going through the housing estate and caravan site it opens up on the shoreline be careful on the sand you don't get stuck .some great views of the harbour and the bay .very quite after the dog walkers have finished .I would use againView all reviews by joeandpam
Excellent place to stay over with stunning views. We found this location late in the evening, through the app as we were passing through, and I have to say that after reading the reviews, it was easy to find and I was happy to stay over.View all reviews by Bam34
We had a peaceful nights sleep without any interruptions, and woke to amazing views of the boats going past. There were lots of morning dog walkers, but didn't have any issues. I would definitely stay there again.
Ideal for a free nights stop-over.
Went through holiday park but couldn't find a way through to the monument or gravelled area, just a big sign saying No Access to Beach and a mobile home. On lane outside holiday park a gang of feral children assumedly from the adjacent housing estate were throwing traffic cones at cars, they through one in front of my van luckily I managed to stop in time and refrain from mowing the little dears down.View all reviews by zigzag
Found this to b a lovely quite site with fantastic views looking over the bay at the mountain range must say was bit weary bout going throu posh caravan site but it was fine no issues park close to monument as harder ground there and sit and watch the boats out in the bay what a wonderful locationView all reviews by ancdef
Quiet spot, please be careful if you park on the sand as I got stuck and had to get the guy from the boating shop to tow me out with his tractor. Seems it happens a lot. I would suggest parking facing the sea next to the concrete monument that looks like a bomb on top, its alot firmer there.View all reviews by jennyvirgo
Lovely ,peaceful setting. Don't be put off by having to drive through a housing estate and then a very upmarket holiday park !View all reviews by dazned
Nice spot in the entrance to the harbour, great view across the bar. Popular with people fishing but quiet otherwise.View all reviews by marc1187
We've spent many a quite night here sometimes with company but mostly alone. Always a quite night.. great views of the welsh hills. Don't park past the spot shown in the photo because of the tides. Don't park on the side overlooked by the caravan park, you could get moved and the view is better on the other side . No bins on site and do not use the caravan park bins, they have cctv ...View all reviews by irishwales
