I cannot rate this overnight stop highly enough, the friendly owner and staff welcome Motorhomes to stay in their car park. The restaurant is in an old Chapel with a great atmosphere and kilted helpful staff. Next to a main road but it is very quiet at night, short walk down to Loch Lomond.

Popular free stopover on mainly level tarmac carpark. Toilets available during pub hours, but pub opens at 9.30am for breakfast (and very good it was too!). Chemical disposal via Disabled WC (confirmed by staff member). Freshwater tap available for fill up. No grey water disposal. 6 motorhomes when we were there, staff member says he used to play Tetris and he could get several more on easily! Very friendly staff. Good pub food at reasonable prices, sadly no cask ales. Very dog friendly. Tarbet a short walk away, lochside views and boat trips, not a lot more.

Decided to stop here the night with our VW and our beagle. We had a walk down to the Loch then a walk to Arrochar.
We then had a lovely meal of haggis and neeps also a flafel burger washed down with some local ales.
The restaurant was friendly and welcoming definitely a place we would return to .

Returning south next day, we decided to try this moho-loving pub-restaurant, and were the only one there. Their record is about 36! Lots of space, and the slope was perfect for levelling ours. The windy gusts that night, however, wete quite substatial and we rocked a bit.
Inside was a warm welcone and friendly chat. Our meal was simply cooked: steak pie, tiny fish n chips, but prices eere wuite high forvwhat it was, and with 2 beers coming to £8.10 we spent £50, which was a bit too much. Heyho! Free parking with water.
More fun if others were there too, i suspect

Just popped in for a meal whilst touring around. Was warmly welcomed and car park was ok for our 7.6 m MH. Quirky pub which was formerly a church and is within walking distance to the Loch. On the main road so can imagine there would be some road noise but if in the area again we would gladly stay over

Dog friendly

Excellent stopover, close to Loch Lomond, with a very friendly and inviting landlord, with a pony tail and wearing a kilt. Allowed us to stay for 2 nights no problem but if you are a light sleeper, road noise maybe a bit troublesome, so bring earplugs. Meals were of good quality and menu varied. We were there for the Saturday night entertainment, lady violinist and male guitarist singer, which was free, traditional and excellent. Toilets are available, through a side door and also fresh water. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Scotland.

Staff here are great and extremely welcoming and friendly. Great restaurant... which is VERY dog friendly, which includes the owner's own dog Dawson the super friendly black lab! Food well prepared and tasty, good value for money here! What makes here super quality is the fact that rear door access to the toilets is accessible all night for those staying overnight in vehicles. Just a ten minute walk to the shores of Loch Lomond. We can't recommend this location enough

Stayed overnight in our motorhome. The staff are lovely and the food is nice. The scenery is stunning. The only downside is the traffic noise even at night, there's enough to disturb you.

Stayed overnight on Sunday 8th April, plenty of room in car park, (so why does the only other MH park right next to me ?) road noise quietens after sixih pm and gets louder after 7 am. The Restaurant/Bar is a converted church. Food was good, they had some 'craft ' beer but no Ale :( - stuck to `Guinness. Staff were friendly . - Nice site just a short walk from the Loch and Loch tours etc

Phoned ahead stayed one night. Did not dine but had a few drinks.Great welcome, great staff, great locals. Helpful information given about the local area and beyond. The slight slope in the car park was not a problem . Water available, someone has stolen the hose.

If you want to be sure of a warm welcome, good atmosphere, great food and good ale look no further. Easy to find and access on the A83, this is a handy stop over particularly if it is out of season and there is not much open. Visit, you won't be disappointed. Would we come again, absolutely. Worth a phone call ahead to check as they are very popular.

Level parking with loads of space. Tap and waste. Owned and run by a really friendly couple. In an old church so plenty of room and tables, and dog friendly. Food was lovely (chefs own steak pie) so had a great Scottish breakfast next day. Great bar with craft beers and lagers on draft. Live music on most Saturdays and also some Fridays. Owners looking at ehu for motorhomes and campervans which will be great for the winter months. Looking forward to going back. Gas bottles exchange as well.

Very friendly. Didn't eat but the food looked a bit pricey to me. It's a converted church so unusual venue. It's by the road but there are walks into the woods. Convenient stopover.

Very Friendly people. Walking in the bar/restaurant can be a little disconcerting as it is quite dark until you get used to the light. A bit like a scene from Deliverence
Toilets in the pub. Water available from hosepipe in the car park. Food is pleasant and priced as expected. (Pizza from £7 and burger / fish £13
Turn off the main Loch Lomond road and drive 2 minutes up to the restaurant
We would definitely go back again
