Very very friendly local and staff. We ate here out of choice not because we had to and it was very very good. Definitely a stop over to remember!

Made a phone call asked if they had room for 2 motorhomes, they said yes no problem. Nice large carpark. lovely open fire pub with very nice food options. lots of pubs classics for £9.95. Highly recommend, will be back..

Lovely friendly welcome on a horrible wet windy day. Feel we couldnt have made a better choice for a stopover.
Menu has a really good choice as does the bar at very reasonable prices.
Certainly wouldnt hesitate to stay again if in the area.
Thanks to searchforsites as we would never have found it without it

Lovely stop over, great pub with great food served by excellent, friendly staff.
We were made to feel very welcome by staff & locals alike.
The views are amazing.
Will definitely return.

Large, narrow, slightly sloping carpark. We are in a 8.5m van and had to do a 5 point turn in the morning, but its doable.
The pub itself is lovely and the food is quality, homemade pub grub.
Two mains for less than £20!, and the view is fantastic.

Under new management. A better overnight stop we have yet to find. Ann, the landlady gave us a warm welcome, there are two large parking areas, newly levelled, with views to die for. The good value food was excellent, so instead of travelling home we decided to play on the heritage narrow gauge railway at nearby Devils Bridge (6 miles) and stop a second night. Will definitely be staying again.
No EHU, but water available.

Stopped here last night very friendly even came out to great us. Old style pub with very nice food. The view from the car park is lovely. They have a static van people can stop over in as well has rooms to stay in. They also have two very friendly donkeys. Spoke to owner and they also accept caravans and tents.
