Updated sept 2019, private Ecoparque campsite on edge of Sado lagoon, with facilities, all parking is on shingle hardstanding some with frontline sea views, some tree shelter & clearly marked pitches, lively waterfront cafe/ coffee / bar adjoining site. 4.5km from historic & fishing port town of Setubal. Quite hilly but fine with electric bike -15/20mins, or regular bus service. 2 massive famous bathing beaches in other direction, would need electric bikes or other transport to.
Site has a perimeter security fence so no direct access to waters edge, but directly next to v small beach & 5-10mins walk on coast rd, to tidal inlet with beach and tree sheltered fixed picnic benches,
