An excellent site for a stopover before catching ferry from Salerno. Easy to find. On entry, Pasquale, the manager, met us and introduced himself with a friendly handshake. Showers were free, hot and clean. Access straight onto a beautiful beach. Small bar and restaurant on site. Short stay campers park along fence next to beach and get the best views!View all reviews by goodwillcamping

If you love beachside campsites, picturesque sunsets, coastal views and the sound of crashing waves, then this eclectic little site is for you. We wanted to come here because of ease of access to the Amalfi coast and although the facilities leave a little bit to be desired and the area is a bit run down, the views are incredible and we feel very safe. There are about eight spots that are overlooking the sea, so high season you may have to cross your fingers, although out of season it was very easy to get prime location. The staff are very friendly and helpful, with an informal air about the place. Although there is a road immediately behind the site, any of the very minimal noise is contained by the sound of the sea. The other advantage is that they are open all year round, which is pretty unique for Italian sites and is ACSI - so we only paid €15 pn. The bus for Salerno is immediately in front of the site, and we had our ride for free, as there was nowhere to buy a ticket! Once off the bus, which is a 30 min ride, you have a short walk to the marina, where you can get a ferry to Positano or Amalfi for €12 or €8 respectively. We missed our bus back from Salerno and so a quick phone call to the campsite and they came to fetch us, which was a lovely added extra. A very nice place to be.View all reviews by themotoroamers
