Very pleased with our one night stay here. Emailed to reserve a space. Had our evening meal in the yacht club. Decent pub food. Nice atmosphere. Had a peaceful night's sleep. Toilets available from 9am. We didn't need to pay for the card to use the shower. 25 mins walk to Liverpool One or Albert Dock. Would definitely stay here again.
Can confirm that motor homes are no longer allowed to park in the outer car park.

Need to book ahead but secure peaceful location walking distance from the City Centre. Spaces tight but no need for table & chairs to come out as the Yacth club has a lovely terrace overlooking the marina and breakfast here was great. Sunshine on our visit????,we could have been in South of France. £15 per night for a City Break where average hotel costs £150 per night. Absolute Bargain, showers in yacht club dated but clean & functional. Brilliant vibrant friendly City, this will be a regular????

pulled up at 5.pm motorhomes are no longer allowed in the large carpark out front. as shown in the photos above. parking inside the marina is very tight. hardley enough room to open the habitation door. I would say storage site rather than parking. moved on to kings dock. large carpark £15.00 for 24hrs. lots of spaces. couldn't see any restrictions.

You can't park in the outer park now, best call ahead as there's a dedicated area for motorhome parking within the main yacht club and you must pre register. Also remember to pay promptly, as there are many parking tickets being issued. Otherwise a great place to visit the centre which is 20 mins walk.

Good location with an easy walk to the city. You need to book in advance, then pay on arrival. Machine appears to take coins only (£15!) or you can pay using your phone. We arrived early afternoon and there were not many spaces at all. By teatime it had cleared out - the previous nights campers having left presumably. So if you have booked but arrive early-ish and it looks like there's no space, this might be why.

Great place to stop just wish the rain would! Book in advance. Places are fairly tight and can pay by phone.

Bus every hourish! Available a short walk. Its a circular route and goes into Liverpool One bus station. (Was bay 8).

About a 20/25 min walk to Pier Head to get cruise and circular bus tours

Great place to access Liverpool city and docklands. You phone ahead to book a space and pay at a machine £15 for 24 hours.
Its a car park without hook up so seems expensive but it so close to all the sites its worth it.
We had dinner in the Yacht Club...great food, great atmosphere and reasonable prices.
For an extra £10 you can access the toilets and showers 24hours. You do get £5 back when you return the access card.
Its a bit noisy with road traffic till 10.30 ish but its a city!
We have had a great time and would defintely return again.
“Before deciding to come in the Bus we had booked an out of town pub/hotel at £165 for two nights ????.”

This was my 4th scheduled stay in 4 years. Up until this year, parking was outside of the marina compound on large carpark. This year parking is restricted to inside the compond. So i booked in advance advising them I was arriving at 7pm. Booking confirmed.
Arrived on time to find NO SPACE foe my van!!! Very stressful evening finding alternative parking.
No response as of yet.
Carpark is not marked with bays and very restricted for larger vans.

Stayed 2 nights. £15 per night payable at the machine - coins or card. The are you park is within the Yacht Club car park. This is cordoned off. Purchased an access card for the Yacht club. This cost £10 but received £5 back when leaving. This gave us access to showers and washing machines. Shower are dated and temperamental with temperature! 15 minute walk (with little’uns) to Liverpool city centre. Very peaceful and good nights sleep. Chemical disposal available as well as grey water

Never had a problem with this site until our last trip. There is a section which is supposed to be cordened off for motorhomes but some people don’t seem to think twice about parking right in the middle of this space, blocking in motorhomes and restricting access to the area. More needs to be done to keep these narrow minded parkers out. Otherwise we love the location and the yacht club facilities are really good.

The car park is a little tight for the larger motorhome; visitors to the yacht club park their cars in what I presume is the motorhome area which can cause a problem getting vehicles in and out. Aside from the aforementioned it’s a great location for access to Albert Dock, M&S Bank arena and Liverpool centre.

Its advisable to pre-book but I did not see anyone checking vehicle registations. Parking is paid at the meter (£15) or via an App. You can also pay a fiver to use the facilities: shower & elsan point etc. The Yacht club and local area was resonably quiet given it was a Saturday night. Overall its not a bad spot but would benefit from clearer/defined parking area for motorhomes.

I agree with all detailed previous reviews. In addittion: European City of Culture is sensational. 10 min cycle to centre - along the mersey banks (often cobbled) Museums free. Cavern entrance free tuesdays & Wednesdays.(otherwise £4) Pleasure ferry 50 minutes hourly £10. Happy hour at yatch club bar 5-7 pm 241 cocktails,£1 of a point & 25% of a bottle of wine. We felt secure here and this Aire although tight spaces is highly recommended.

Had a lovely stay. If you arrive without pre-booking you need to go into the Yacht Club and register (this is also where you get the keycard for access to the toilets and showers £5 plus £5 refundable deposit). The road by the carpark is fairly quite as it is purely residential once the Yacht Club has closed for the night.

Stayed here first may bank holiday.
Brilliant location, bus round the corner to city centre.
Short walk to Albert dock and museums.
Toilets and showers were very clean and bar with food open till late.
No noise problem slept like a log.
Elsan disposal available.
The only thing we didn't like was the fresh water was next to elsan point and people used it for their toilets.
We didn't fill up with water as we had enough, and we didn't fancy using it.
I suppose we are a bit too fussy.

Stayed over one night along with about six other vans. There are no dedicated bays and at 7m we took up three as they are small, doesn't seem to matter though. Payment is at machine with coins or card and also online app, £15 for 24 hours. Handy for the dock and walk into town. We got taxi back from cathedral and was £6. Cars passing frequently but too noisy.

Great place to stay if your visiting Liverpool or the Arena. Facilities are good in the Yacht club, we didn't eat in there though so could comment on that. 15 mins walk to Arena, 20 to Albert Docks and about 25 into city centre.
Whilst we were there the warden asked us to sign a petition to keep allowing campers to overnight there as the council are trying to stop it. I'm sure he'd appreciate some more names to add to his list (mail@liverpoolmarina.com)

This really is a good stop over, it's in the marina right next to the yacht club in a residential area. You can use the yacht club for a meal and they do a cracking breakfast at a reasonable cost. It's close to the Echo Arena and also The Albert Dock, it's not too far from the city centre and it's shops and bars.

As promised review of Liverpool marina. Great location for museums, docks and city centre. Wasn’t busy in car park. Bit of background noise at night from passing traffic and river ie foghorn and beeping noise? I wear ear plugs so didn’t disturb too much. Didn’t use the showers or bar/restaurant but was allowed to use toilets. Would definitely recommend for 1 or 2 nights if visiting Liverpool for the attractions.

Stayed overnight after a John Bishop gig in echo arena which is a very short walk away. There are two car parks the one on the left as you approach is really only for small vans sub 6 mts and the one on the left has a few bays that would suit larger vehicles ( mine is 7.5mts) , your rear end needs to overhang onto the pavement. The bays are not wide so not sure how the parking warden would view you taking up a bay and a bit.
Didn’t use the facilities but the marinapub looked ok to me.

Arrived early Saturday morning and managed to get into probably the only space left suitable for our 7.5m van by overhanging the grass between the trees. Great day walking around the museums and catching the sights of the impressive town. Really windy the night we stayed which meant a poor nights sleep but otherwise seemed quiet. A little expensive for parking but made up for by it's location

We stayed one night in August and one night in Sept. We are 6 metres with a 4.5 metre trailer so took up 2 spaces. We spoke to the traffic officer who was busy giving out penalty tickets about the length of rig and he told us it was ok to buy one ticket. We were on our way to the Isle of Man so convenient to stay overnight both times on way to ferry and coming home as landed in evening. Marina opens at 8am so can use toilets etc. Quiet and safe. Will use again. Food good and staff friendly.

A quiet car park within easy reach of city centre. Confusing payment methods if you're old fashioned and just expect to put some cash in the meter! All staff in marina building extremely helpful and friendly. No real washroom facilities e.g. Just public toilets with access to showers (yucky.)Bar food was good value and quality. Managed a good nights sleep. Local road closures due to maintenance caused some difficulties on approach and making way to ferry port but these should be temporary

Newbie Motorhomers and only our second night out so were wary parking in just a car park, with flats one side of us and marina the other. No problems though. We did see the car park wardens putting tickets on screens so be warned! £!5 + 20p per 24hrs. Marina Office staff extremely helpful. Facilities £10 less £5 back on returned card. Breakfast & Evening meals were ok at the bar. Citybike Hire Station 100mts away. 140 stations across city - like London. Stayed 2 days - We will return.

good place to stay when visiting Liverpool. Bit of a walk to the centre of Liverpool, hubbie has a knee problem. Stayed here one night, only. Level car park, £10 deposit for card, to enable you to use showers, fill up fresh water and empty loo. £5, refunded when card returned. Showers are scruffy, but plenty of hot water, washing machine and drier available, charge payable. We ate at the Quayside bar, staff great, food very good, large portions, could not eat it all. Spent 2 nights here 2/3rd Jan. Very quiet, only van there. Nice bar and clean toilets, £10 for a swipe card ( £5 refundable) which gives you 24hr access. £15 per night either payable with 15 coins in the machine, or by card in the office when open. Handy for the attractions.

Excellent location for visiting the city centre. Such an amazing place with places of historic interest, wonderful places to dine and great shopping. Great value for money and facilities were certainly not the worst we've experienced. Recommended.
