Free large cp, mostly flat. Nice views / walks Stayed at the weekend and the lower car parks were quite full of cars. Just 3 other vans when we stayed. Some sort of “Go Ape” facility in the woods to the left. Lots of fearless kids zip wiring from tree to tree.View all reviews by GoEurope365
Came on basis of reciews but were very disappointed. It appears, from signage, that all swimming activities end 1st September. The whole place looked very tired and unkempt, probably due to a good season. The snack bar was clean and they were busy upgrading their outdoor area and staining furniture. The toilets were filthy with green algae in the sinks.View all reviews by pottyhouse1
Around 20 extra long parking bays for motorhomes. 30 minute cycle to Carcassonne mainly on cycle paths.
Can see it being a much better place in season.
Wow what an amazing place, large flat free car park with everything from large motorhomes to sleeping cars. Plenty of bins and basic toilets. There are a couple of outside showers. The lake is stunning with a 5k circular walk, a sandy beach, large inflatable assault course, a huge tree top safari, water ski pulley, paddle boats and boards. There are several refreshment kiosks and a lovely bar near the ski pulley serving very reasonably priced food and two large draft beers for 11€ which was cheap compared to Avignon at 14€. Will definitely visit again and stay longer than 1 night.View all reviews by bitsyandburt
As previous reviews lovely quiet place to stay for free. Top car park bit sloping in bits but best view, next car parks down were flat. Toilets and cold outside showers at bottom of hill, lovely shower as the weather was very hot. Lovely walk round lake as stated but did not see any shops nearby to the lake so need to be fully loaded to stay here although snack bars open through day at the lake. Near to carcasonne but used an aires nearer to go in to the cite later in to our tripView all reviews by deany

Lovely stop over. Toilets are basic but clean, take your own toilet tissue with you. Showers are outside so we didn’t try them. December isn’t the time for outdoor showering! Car park was busy but not full during the day and quiet overnight with just a couple of motorhomes. A tip for visiting Carcasonne Cite though. Please don’t park in the motorhome and coach car park on Chemin de Montlegun. While we visited 3 motorhomes including ours were broken into. May be best to park here then get a taxi.View all reviews by northernsoul1977
Spent 2 days here enjoying the warm weather .. beachs are lovely, one sandy and one pebble with some grass and shade. Toilets and showers by the pebble beach clean and tidy. Quite night in the top car park with 4 other vans.. no issues at all with staying here.View all reviews by irishwales
