What lovely place! Ideal for visiting Belfast. Bus stop right outside. Fully serviced pitches, clean well equipped services and very secure.
You need to pre book to get the entry code, as the site isnt staffed.

This is a very well kept site with good sized pitches and nice warm showers/toilets. This place has the best WiFi we’ve ever had! Great location for visiting the area, the only down side is the road noise.

Cracking little site, more like a European municipal site in style and feel. The facilities were spotless and easy to access using the supplied PIN code. Situated right at the side of the shore, very accessible for dog walking, a kids play area outside with lots of good quality equipment and securely fenced off. We stayed on our way North having left the ferry.. we'll stay again on our way back I think.

Great location for visiting Belfast or if using the ferry. Well run with generous pitches, hardstanding and room for awning. Showers and toilets very clean. Very secure with individual pin code to access site. Coffee shop right outside and walks along sea front. Bus stop right outside and rail station 15 min walk. Only one downside is significant road noise from busy road adjacent to site.

A great little site and a model that other councils ought to copy.

Small site on the shores of Belfast Lough run by the local council open all year round. Located in Loughshore Park with pleasant walks and cycle routes and an extensive children's play park. Approximately 6 miles from Belfast and 4 miles from Carrickfergus so excellent location for exploring both areas and has good public transport links to both on the doorstep. Also a good stopover if travelling to the ferry in either Belfast or Larne. Close to Whiteabbey village with shops, bars, restaurants and a small Spar supermarket. Facilities are clean and well looked after and only accessible using the keycode provided at time of booking. Laundry costs £2 for washing machine and £2 for dryer. Space for 2 larger motorhomes at the end of the site and space for a car alongside at all pitches. Although there is free internet, we were unable to pick up any signal at time of stay. 16 amp electricity points and grey water drain at every pitch. There is a coffee shop just outside the barrier in the public park area open daytime only. Feel the price of £21 per night during winter is high.
