Stayed for two nights Sept 2019. Fantastic views of glaciers and Mont Blanc but otherwise site could only be rated as average. Toilet block below reception is ok but the other one is old and a bit smelly! Ground very uneven in places (caught exhaust on ground but no damage done) and lots of bushes and trees that need to be cut back. 45min walk to Chamonix but free bus tickets also provided. Overall it is worth staying here just for the view.View all reviews by ivkerr
Facilities were adequate, waste water had to be disposed of using a bucket and for fresh water it was necessary to run a hose through a window in the toilet block which was in the basement of reception. The electric supply was of low ampage and it was easy to blow the fuse. However, there was a beautiful view of the mountains and glaciers and there was a bus into Chamonix every 30min which is free. Only campsite open at this time of the year. A trip up the L’Alguille du Midi is well worth it.View all reviews by brianrndavidson
Stayed for one night in Sep 2017. The site is easy to find and access although tight is ok. The facilities are clean and warm and under the reception building. Views amazing from our pitchView all reviews by hughuk69
Free bus pass, wifi and 10amp cost 24€ for one night. For chamonix this seems about right. Got the bus to Mont Blanc and went up for 60 euros, worth every penny.
Lovely site with fantastic views, tried the restaurant on the site and the duck was out of this world.Very helpful staff and you get a bus pass which entitles you free transport back and forth up and down the Chamonix Valley.View all reviews by nonamart65
