Parked camper in the top left corner. Busy in the day but quiet at night. Plenty of shops, pubs and takeaways. Supermarket just over the bridge on the right. Automated toilet by the entrance near the tourist information. Ample opportunities for walking and cycling.

Standard car park, quiet after 6pm, popular with dog walkers. Heaps of trails through the many parks around here.Good food in the Tullie Inn over the road and a curry house around the corner. No services.

loved this, really peaceful, brilliant dog walking. lady in tourist information very helpful even marking on a map for me places I could take the dogs in to eat with me,all within a short walking distance.
also just 10 minutes walk to Lomond Shores outlet shopping centre, with a kids play area, free top adventures, sea life centre and bird of prey centre. Will certainly return.

Stayed here on our way to Ben Lomond and onward up onto the West coast and Mull. Three other motor homes joined us on a Saturday night. Had one car with a couple of kids drive up early in the evening, but it was quiet after that. Pub and chippy nearby if you want but we didn't use them.

Great quiet, sheltered and central spot. Loads of food options close-by.

Recycling bins 50 metres along footpath away from Bridge / towards Loch.

We took a one hour boat trip starting next to the parking.

Lots of youngsters in the park the other side of the hedge , however they soon dispersed as soon as they were moved along by the Police.
Apart from that , its a great location, lots of walks and cycle tracks around the Loch.
The parking is just behind the Tourist Information Office who were very helpful.
24 hour superloo outside the tourist information and glass recycling just across the road.

Lovely quiet overnight spot on the riverside just behind the tourist info building. We spent the day here walking by the loch. Good cycle path too. Loo (paying) by tourist info or free 5 mins walk (bus station). Lots of eateries very close by, pub (tullie Inn), fish & chips, italian, indian, chinese. Tourist info very good. Advised about permit situation around Loch Lomond and Trossachs. Also advised about good free wild spots on lakeside ie Duck Bay

Nice level car park. The sheltered area was full of lorries so we parked nearer the front. Quite night considering its town centre. Nice walk along the river. Will call again and do the walk to loch lommand (5 miles).

Super spot for a late night stopover on the way north. Quiet in the back corner by the hedges, just 2 other vans there. Had an excellent breakfast at The Waterhouse Inn on the main street next morning but note they don't open til 9 am. Well worth £6.95 each. Co-op a short walk away for supplies.

Perfect spot for a Friday Night stopover. The Chipper was excellent as predicted before, 2 fish and lovely chips. Had a couple of drinks in the local friendly Bar where dogs are most welcome. Will definitely come back here if not for the local welcome but def for the Fish.Perfect.

Good spot. Good Friday evening I expected it to be busy, it was quiet. Parked facing the cruise boats. The small chippy nearby had a queue out of the door so we joined it. Fish supper £6.20 2 huge fish and a good portion of chips, fed 2 of us. Main public toilets closed for refurbishment but one of those electonic capsule loos near car park. I don't like automatic doors, don't trust them.
We are using the cycle route up the loch so a good stop

If the marina car is full drive on over the bridge and there is a park on the left opposite The Waterside Inn, lots of long parks for motorhomes, no signs saying can't stay overnight and the Tourist Information Center said it's fine to overnight. Good spot right in the centre of town.

This is Balloch Rd car park. Very accessible and quiet. Great for an overnight stay in a village with several bars and eateries. Public toilets at entrance are open when tourist information office open. Ground is level shale. Ferries for loch tours leave dock at side of car park.
