Great free stop over down narrow approach but worth it. No signs. Parking directly above a large pebble beach.
There's a bin but nothing else. If you're after shelter from the wind this may not be for you as it's a rural hideaway beach stop on the Irish Sea coast....but so relaxing.

Stayed there one night, no one else were there. Very quiet all night. Used the coordinates rather the postcode, which brought us there no problem. Our Ducato camper was a bit tricky on the narrow track especially at daylight. Yes, it is a bit unloved but it's a park for a night not a campsite.

Stopped here Friday night en route to Whitehaven.
Very peaceful.
Had planned to stay overnight in Whitehaven the following night but the boy-racer idiots in Whitehaven just got too much so we returned to for the Saturday night as well

Flat free car park right onto a pebble beach. Only saw dog walkers and people living in the houses at the side of the car park. Quiet all night, no one else stayed, however it was a Tuesday.

Middle aged couple in VW high top camper. what a spot. The view over the sea and pebbled beach is lovely. Unfortunately it is raining but If it was warm weather you could go for a walk on the beach for at least 3 mile.

Quiet location, bit tricky to find. Beach is just pebbles. No facilities. Probably not the best if you have children or dogs as it is a bit unloved. Had a great night sleep listening to the crash of the waves. Would come again ????

Great location a stone throw from the sea. Yes a bit unloved and a bit grotty but look past that to the view to the Isle is Man and when the tides out loads of sands to the right towards Braystones to walk dogs. Definitely recommend but bear in mind it’s a concrete car park.

Called here with the intention to stay over, beach was covered with rubbish, hard standing area covered with broken glass. We had a puppy with us and could not let her out of the van, if you had small children you would feel the same. Shame as it it a lovely spot with a good view of the sea. We had to move on...

Fantastic overnight stop if you have nerves of steel. Approach road is terrifying-narrow road, hump back bridge, blind corners & steep hill. Had it entirely to ourselves though. Also if you see a railway sign,GO NO FURTHER, that's the wrong road and there's no room to turn. Speaking from experience here!!
